A new batch of A-Spec races are now available in Gran Turismo 6, featuring a series of new drift and time trial challenges exclusive to non-racecars, rally cars, race cars, and American non-racecars.
This week’s newest challenges are as follows:

- Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit, Time Trial
- Period of Availability: 07/16/2014 – 08/13/2014
- 500PP Max, Sports/Hard compounds or less
- Gold: 65,000cr, Silver: 32,000cr, Bronze: 16,000cr

Rally Car Super Lap
- Eiger Nordwand K Trail, Time Trial
- Period of Availability: 07/16/2014 – 08/13/2014
- 550PP Max, Dirt tires

American Non-Racecars Drift Trial

Why call these challenges ‘A-Spec races’? It’s not as if 6 has any B-Spec in it. Being reminded of what could have been fuels a rage in me that I can do without.
Why not call them what they are… Challenges.
500 Street, Rally 550 or Free Rally Challenge are some examples that come to mind. Or is that what Sony and PD continue to call them. Anywho… enjoy your would of GT6. Wish I had the time for the online play ;)

Somehow 68th in the rally trial… Either there’s not many people on yet, or the general public is not a fan of the difficulty of it.
At least the guy in first in the race car drift trial is being entertaining by using a Nascar. :P
I loved using a Nascar at 550pp last year in GT5 online, on the 24 Nurburgring layout, destroying the supercar competition by over 15s.
Yeah i wish someone did a general Nascar tune for nordschlief or circuit racing @praiano63 had a very good one in GT5.

What, the paint?
It’s a very nice shade of blue. Almost seems like it has some sort of ghost flames, but it’s just shadows from the track’s trees. That’s what probably seems off about it.
It looks like it’s sinking into the road… Very strange indeed.
The haybale on the side of the road is causing the sinking illusion.

the colour of the hay almost matches the road so at first glance it looks like the road is eating the car

I’m in transit at the moment and am worryingly far away from my PS3. Can someone tell me what specific race car the motegi drift is on, or the required PP for it?
No PP limits/Any racecars with Sports:Hard or less probably. I’d gladly check it out for you but there’s a Terms Of Service glitch that acts like I didn’t accept them when I did…
@BrunetPaquet – if that’s a PSN error, you might need to go onto the website and update your PSN password. Seems quite a lot of people were having the same problem but the PS3 doesn’t tell you this is the problem.
@watchclockgit well, my PS3 is getting old. Keeps freezing or not saving in any game I play on it. Been saving in advance in case of such an occurence… Also 1.09 is when it started occurring

They come fortnightly – so next week.
Each… Hmm, well let’s say odd weeks there’ll be Time Attacks and each even week there’ll be A-spec’s. Been like that since GT5 when seasonals started awarding items depending on which podium spot you place on.
