Hey does anybody know what the best setup for spa is with the ferrari F10? I got gold on monza easy but spa is annoying please help.

  2. Marcus96

I agree it is weird having a Standard Enzo and F2007. I did buy both of them because I am a car collector (Standard Enzo’s grip and handling is god-like aweful!). Even so, I think the Enzo is from GT PSP (looks low res and crappy) but I think the F2007 is from GT5-Prologue because it looks HD (unlike other Standard cars) and the cockpit view is very detailed, like the Premium F2007. This is what I believe because the Standard F2007 looks too detailed to be a Standard car but it’s in Standard car’s because it is a version from a past GT game (GT5 Prologue).

    1. MeanElf

Yeah, I re-did a few seasonal races to get that 2007 F1 – really odd to see these cars appear after almost three years.

As for the handling, these cars are rarely stock, more like they all have a common setting when bought. Sometimes the gear ratios are tweaked but most of the settings are a middle ground which will often make them handle badly when driven ‘stock’.

Oh look finally a reason to drive an f1 car in gt. these darn thongs are the most useless and worst value for money cars in gt because you cant use them in 2p battle plus you cant drive them online unless its a room for only ferrari f1 cars i mean come on pd at least let us drive f1 vs fgt! Is it too much to ask?

    1. makuserusukotto

      It’s Ferrari’s fault, not PD.

The only way Ferrari would allow their F1 cars to be used was if they couldn’t be raced against any other car, because they didn’t want the possibility of another car beating their F1 cars.

    1. Daisey273

Haha i know right! I’ve missed the last two time trials cause I’m half way through :P (The sun is coming up :) )

  4. Emman1984

I hope this doesn’t take weeks to complete the last F1 challenge was extremely hard. Well let me try to knock this out fast in like 1 hour :-)

    1. DegenThought

You thought so? I’m not the best driver and I remember doing them well below PP limit and winning easily

  5. infamousphil

Anyone else aware that the F1 and FGT cars are tunable to identical hp/kg/pp ratings?

Not enough laps and circuits. Getting tired of these short sprint races at ridiculous places such as London. Geeez, it’s bad enough that the AI is slow.

Now how do I want to suit up my avatar ;)

    1. Progress823

Yup, Phil the secret has been out for a while on that. Too bad they can’t be raced at the same time to see which one is the better car.

    2. infamousphil

Can’t decide due to my lack of precision. Depends on track which comes out top while using similar setup.

Maybe we’ll get around to doing that when I get back into town ;)

  6. nismo n13

I bought the enzo from the OCD, just to see what the difference is between the standard and premium models, and what’s with the standard f2007 PD?

  7. Jared93

Cool to see this again; I had a bit of fun with this seasonal last time it was available. Standard F2007 & Enzo ftw…
Italian GP is my birthday weekend. :)

  8. JASON_ROCKS1998

so this seasonal comes along just after i stop playing GT5 because i lost all my cars and everything on it YESTERDAY

    1. Pit Crew

Well it’s kinda possible to send an F1 car, if you have a level 24 ticket. I’d head to the Marketplace and ask for help on that front. In fact checkout Playnthru’s thread.

    2. Quigz125

I doesn’t your ps3 have a auto backup save in the saved game data menu? I know mine does, it saves 24 hours behind the real time save. But idk if it might have been messed up since u last logged in to GT5.

  9. Izzyracer97

wish this was a time trial event but thanks to hackers it is not possible. Why would anyone want to hack a car as perfect as a Ferrari F1?

  10. Lambob

Nice seasonal to come back to GT5 to, after a long hiatus , I haven’t played in over 5 months,
I love driving the F1 2007 with no aids whatsoever, no ABS either, this car is truly forgiving, even on the Nurburgring Nordschleife, I still have a mission to lap it in under 5:00. (I did 5:10 I think with it when I was learning the track some close to two years ago, pre Spec II)

  11. KYD302

This event was so easy an there just wasn’t enough laps i wanted to run 50 laps, I love Formula Cars. Hoping GT6 will feature better seasonal events with a minimum of 20 laps make them at least like a heat race instead of a sprint.

    1. mr_pepps

F1 cars have driven up Regent Street in the past, which is part of the GT circuit.
I think it’s a good idea. Pretty tricky but great once you master the braking points and pressures.

    1. SavageEvil

Interesting, these cars were always in the game but not normally accessible through the random UCD. PD is just unlocking all the models I guess so we can complete our collections. I want that 1,000hp Citroen GT in my stable. Didn’t know that the Ferrari was in there too but hey any car is welcome as long as I can get my mitts on it.

    2. Rionmoon

FORGET about the Standard Enzo and the Standard F2007.

      I’m seeing a cherry sweeeeet ’72 Fiat 500 R!!!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!

    3. Deko Wolf-GTPT

Because, Rionmoon, the previous event didn’t offered rewards. These events were reset some time ago and came back one by one with the new reward and performance system.

    4. turbolefty78

So Rionmoon, why would you think that an event with the word “seasonal” in it’s name would anything but? These events are, by design, meant to return season after season. So it was about a year ago that we had the previous Ferrari F1 challenge. Guess what we might be seeing in a year from now on here, assuming it’s all still active at that time?

So Deko Wolf-GTPT & turbolefty78 ” ” seasonal ” ” means “over a year old and über board with it so lets to it AGAIN” only this time with different rewards.

      Huh

SO glad GT 6 is coming soon cause PD has lost even the pretense of doing anything new or creative for its paying customer base with GT5. This is like an old marriage at this time with more of the boring same and nothing new or exciting.

Right now I have a garage full of cars in the 550pp range I haven’t raced because there is no event for them. Sure I could use the power limiter or increase their ops with upgrades but WHY when it would be fairly simple for PD to create some seasonal events in that pp range. Besides, these are stock vehicles from PD so why shouldn’t there be a race for them? Because PD is DONE with GT5. I hope PD doesn’t ignore us with GT6 because they’re to busy with the GT movie

    1. Rionmoon

FORGET about the Standard Enzo and the Standard F2007.

      I’m seeing a cherry sweeeeet ’72 Fiat 500 R!!!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!

  12. AcenSpades

never bought the formulas eventhough i have the money for em, any advice for a good setup especially for london and monaco?? thanks in advance.

    1. Izzyracer97

The best setup for a beginner is just max out the spring rate and dampers and anti-roll bars. toe and camber can be adjusted as you learn how to drive the car

  13. Irons

I’m rather pleased that they had Monza and Spa on this week’s events. I got pretty hyped after watching the Belgian GP this past weekend and I’m definitely looking forward to the Italian GP in a couple of weeks.

    1. infamousphil

      Me too, Irons

They’ve been scheduling these to coincide with the actual events of F1, le Mans, Nurburg and Spa 24h. Don’t know about SuperGT though.

    1. DegenThought

Agreed. So tired of coming out of a corner to find two of them sitting there accelerating like the tank car
