Yes, I second JP's comments.
Although those cappuccinos look strangely unsinged. Are you sure you burnt yours?

p.s. The ORCA_champ lounge is open. Very begrudgingly I am signed in as ORCA_champ so I can accept friend requests. Unfortunately I cannot change that flag!

Man, I guess it's true, the rest of the world really does hate 'Merica! Can't say I really blame you, if you get any of our tv shows they really make us look bad.

Funny thing happened when I was going through some old replays to get photos for that montage. The karting race was from December 2010, almost exactly a year ago, and look who else was in that race:

I KNEW THAT WAS ME.

I'm actually bringing that series back soon.

Did you really? That was my first ever racing series, had some fun but it fizzled for some reason. Cami was in that race too but was at the bottom of the list so he didn't make it in the picture. Lol

I'd probably be up for a karting series if it fit my schedule. Especially if it ran in an ORCA lounge. :sly: :sly: I made a nice, big karting track for the 125 karts the other night, I'll put it on share so you can check it out.

Nope. I love merka. Wish I could visit more often (twice so far, and only to Florida).

And as for Tv shows, you gave us M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier and countless others. We won't mention Friends though. :)

I guess Florida is ok, but just remember it is Mericas penis. And last time I checked we also gave the world the Pinto and the Gremlin, it saddens me that these cars are not represented in GT5, either of those cars could go toe to toe with a Yugo any day of the week.

luckylefty2gunz Dec 16 2011 5:19 PM

all those tv show are garbage...lol
and i'm even from that era, which makes it worse man i feel old right now...lol

BrandonW77 Dec 16 2011 6:13 PM

No way, Cheers and Frasier were great shows. I don't acknowledge the existence of Friends.

@Torzilla, I believe the term is 'Merica's Wang. :)

If Florida is a wang, what does that make California? :)

Exactly what you think it makes it... Don't ever take a holiday to that place.

BrandonW77 Dec 17 2011 5:29 AM

California's actually a beautiful state, San Francisco is one of the most amazing cities I've been to. Just steer clear of the natives, and L.A. Lol

Menown Dec 17 2011 6:22 AM

My only visit to "mercia was St. Paul"s airport and that was only go get to Canada. The customs guy at international arrivals was a total douhce and the security theatre was ridiculous, but the ones I've worked with have been perfectly normal people and they ones I've met online via this series cement that.

I've not had the pleasure of going to San Fran or San Diego, I've heard good things about both places... My only experience is with L.A.

I would imagine that northern California is close enough to being like Oregon, that I would probably like it as well...

BrandonW77 Dec 17 2011 6:51 AM

St. Paul is unofficially part of Canada, in fact all of Minnesota is. Lol
We have our fair share of super douche's here, just like anywhere, but most of us are good people. We just like to sue too much. :dunce:

Careful Mr B: Someone could sue you over that comment! :)

Is anyone coming out to play later on? I need the practise at Daytona Road!

I'd love to, however, I'm still stuck at work... Glad I have 4 days off after today, I'm having GT5 withdrawal...

Johnnypenso Dec 17 2011 9:19 AM

Based on the geographical location of Florida and California and their respective corresponding body parts, I guess that makes Detroit, just across the river from me, the armpit of America?

Here's hoping that they new Kart is a 125 shifter, even if it's just a two speed like the Rotax DD2 karts, as that'll make a dramatic difference in the low end. Add in the not so hidden Kart tracks at Fuji, Spa and a couple others, and perhaps a DLC world class track or two and Karting would be a lot more fun in GT5...they are so so close...
