Well it would on a real Camaro, but there is no telling exactly how PD programed it. I can't test it out for myself, I loaned my copy of GT4 out.

Setting the suspension that way will help fight against, body twist from torque and give you better weight transfer and traction. The pic is of Nick Micale's low 10 sec turbo buick, and shows the kind of forces you will be fighting.
Thanks for that i softened up the back and it ran a 11.940. thanks again.

I knew it'd hit 11's good work.

Now figure out which settings in the posi are closest to welding the spider gears. I wish I could help, but my nephew is hard to say no too. I may have to buy another copy of this game.

oh yes, and, use an impreza :s lol

No TCS and apparently no nitrous

Pretty much set up a drag suspension setting with super soft springs and shocks in the rear. Played with the front a bit too. Ride hight was 100mm up front and 145mm in the rear. Transmission setup was a 1 auto setting with 3.62 (stock) gears out back. Had to launch in 3rd. gear in order to even attempt gripping the track. No weight changes.

Coming up, i'm going to try playing with the final gear ratios and and the others accordingly in order to launch in lower gears with better traction. I'll also try a few things with the weight. I might trade the exhaust for a less expensive system and grab a lighter flywheel. Too bad you can't change tire pressure and such...Well, for now, that's where she stands. She's a pretty husky car at 1328 Kg's being only 2 wheel drive, but she's got potential. I hope to update this with faster times soon!

P.S. The racing tires shown in the pictures were installed purely for show and were not used while racing. Just in case people started asking questions...

boomboy and luvAMG, those are some good times. Looks like I need to get back to retesting my Camaro and getting back at the top again. If that's even possible for me...

I'm still waiting for someone to beat my best FF times. If you're curious, note that my best times with the Eclipse came with very few power adders other than NOS. Using better tires, flywheels, and clutches with leftover cash for small power adders seemed to be my best bet. boomboy, I'm with you on the Acura. As soon as I find a cheap one (if it's even available), I'm going to try to break my own record with that bad boy.

On a side note, I copied my save game over to a spare memory card so as not to mess with my original game. After doing many MANY drag strip runs on the new save game, my PS2 has a tendency now to lock up after exiting the drag races on the save game. I've tried it on my original save without the problem. After doing a few runs and exiting the drag race screen, 9 times out of 10 now the PS2 will just get to the black screen that normally has a little timer on it and just sit there. My only choice is to reset the PS2. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Maybe I need to scour some of the other forums to see what's going on with that.

Keep up the good work on those 1/4 mile times, guys!

Last night's work:

Camaro Z28 $12,055
Oil $50
FC Trans $0
FC Suspension $0
NA level 2 $12,500
Chip $1,500
Weight Reduction 1 $1,200
Sports Clutch $1,700
Semi-Racing Flywheel $600
Total $29,605

Horsepower: 404
Time 12:411

The biggest surprise on this was that I needed to go with TCS. I thought I'd be able to do this with no aids, but I spun WAY too much when starting out (even in 2nd gear). Once I hit 50MPH, TCS is through with its job.

I see some better times for this particular car with a supercharger, I just didn't want to go that route. My loss.
