Wallbanger's Cafe & Outlaw Motorsports Garage (New Tunes 6/15/12)

Running a few laps of Nürburgring with Quicksilver for some added capital and new suits.:) Then I'll probably pay a quick visit to my sadly neglected Copen and give it a couple.laps of the ring to see if I can get under 8 minutes. If I'm under or closer than my last go round I'll publish its tune.
After that I'm looking at the 110A and 110B wankers I have and will probably make one of them my next project for around 500PP. See if they can run with Quicksilver.:D
Lol! Did the auto correct do that? :D and ok, but if you were looking for a true oddball to compete in the British Lightweights seasonals, you would have tried the Corsa. 204hp in a car that weighs 888kg is always going to be a laugh. And a understeery one at that. And can I have a go in the copen after you?

Your the main reason I'm planning on running the Copen.
Corsa? And no that wasn't auto correct.:P

Yay, hyper bonkers Kei car FTW! :D Yep, Corsa. Like driving Postman Pat's van on the nurburgring, using a botched together tune with a diff nicked from a C30, and suspension from your Coure thingy :D

And tell me when you're done with the tunes, because I've got the ultimate oddball. GT5's 2nd fastest hearse :D

Want to welcome a new outlaw, test driver and tuning partner ACSR421. AC has volunteered to step in as our in-house transmission specialist, LSD tech and all around good guy. This means you will be seeing improvements made to already released tunes and you can expect even higher quality and performance from our future tunes.
Thanks AC and welcome to the team here at Wallbanger's Cafe & Outlaw Motorsports Garage.👍👍:gtpflag:

Wish I could have helped more... Been so busy and me and the gila didn't get along. (engines go in the front imho)
I did try it... Just didn't do very well on it. Lol

Well the Gila Monster is primarily a cruiser ment to just tool along at 60 or 70 mph and has very light steering. That light steering when you start to push the car can get you in trouble quick.

As for helping your always welcome to chime in with tunes, reviews, pictures, cold hard cash:crazy: uhm where was I oh yeah like I was saying your help is always welcome in whatever fashion you care to give it.:)👍👍

Any chance of a pic of your Matte Black Karmann Ghia? Sounds sweet - keep up the good work with all your tunes - love the less-popular rides :)

Unfortunately I have no way currently to put pictures up here in the thread. I do have someone who is willing to help out but between his own garage and time limitations its going a bit slow. Most of my current tunes are on share so you can send me an FR on PSN and check them out.
If he has it on share I will snap you a pic.
Hey Drew since your already on my friends list if you want the position of garage photographer its yours.:D

WOW!!!! Took the chrome spitfire on my test track, Grand Valley Speedway, and that thing was a blast. Probably did my best lap ever with that car. Accelerates nicely, i can stomp on the gas and there isn't any noticeable under or oversteer. Handles really well too. Braking under high speeds can get a little weird so I was a little hesitant at first to brake as late as possible.
Amazing tune. Maybe the braking is just me? An other wise perfect tune. OK, could do without the chrome. Not my kinda thing. :)

That Karman Ghia looks sick with the matte black paint. Have to try that out!!!

And digging the whole tuning of lesser used cars. I was thinking the same thing. I started with the Lotus Evora, tried the Alpine 1600, want to do the Lotus Europa, and a few others but i am piss poor at tuning so it is slow going.

It's awesome racing online with these types of cars and winning. Took out my tuned CR-Z and beat a few drivers (that weren't very good to begin with) but nevertheless beat them in their Mclarens, BMWs, and Vettes. I wonder what the look on their face is like when their supercars get out accelerated by a 300HP Honda hybrid.

The Outlaw Motorsports Garage tunes
Daihatsu Copen Active Top '02 "Nibelung"

Two of my favorite things came together recently and resulted in the Outlaw Motorsports Garage and Harvey Wallbanger spending quality time to produce this mighty dwarf that creates gold. I've always found the Daihatsu Copen Active Top to be one of the most attractive Kei cars with its rounded form hearkening back to the old Porsche Speedster. With the band of Outlaws at Wallbanger's throwing just about every performance enhancing trick in the book at it the final result was a car that weighed in at only 732kg while producing an astounding 207HP out of its 659cc. With this great power to weight ratio of 3.47kg/HP the question became where to unleash this mighty dwarf.
That's where another of my favorites came into play as we recently traveled to Germany and the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife for the British Lightweight Seasonal races. This monster track has become a benchmark of sorts as man and machine pit their abilities against the many varied challenges that seek to destroy them in the midst of primeval beauty. Yes it was destined to be, and so it was that Harvey Wallbanger strapped himself in and set off on an epic drive. The opening strains of Wagner's ride of the Valkyries pouring through his helmet speakers as the Wallbanger crossed the starting line and the race was on. Could the legendary Wallbanger actually use this "Nibelung" to produce gold and beat the mighty Valkyries to the finish? An astounding 7:51.155 later the Wallbanger crossed the finish line well ahead of the opera's Valkyries.
Now Harvey Wallbanger and his band of merry outlaws offer you the "Nibelung" tune so you can craft gold on the Nürburgring.

Thanks for the great review and feel free to try out any of the cars I place up for share. They are all cars that you can find the tunes for here.
As for brakes I find them to be as much about personal preference as anything so adjusting them to suit your style of driving is to be encouraged.

Yay! Now put it on share when you get back from work! :D

Give me another 5 minutes Onboy and it will be replacing the Isuzu, which I have been meaning to work on anyways.:D

And no your not out of a job, I just took advantage of the opportunity to improve the quality of the car tunes offered here at the Wallbanger's.👍👍

Look for my favorite "Pocket Monster" to be getting a full transmission tune and possibly LSD workover in the next couple of days! Should make it even more of a Supercar killer than it already is.:scared::bowdown::gtpflag:

Yay! Even more Kei car mentality!!! :D And I DID IT!!! I DID A 2:05 IN KERMIT ON GVS!!!!!! :D :D 👍 :dopey: :)
So I saw good job!👍👍

Oh and not to distract you from the FF shootout or anything...but the Copen is on share now.:sly:

Distract me? I'm done already :D And by the way, did you know I just cracked the 2:05 barrier in Kermit? :D  :P
Yeah I saw! X3...well X4 if you count the post in the Shootout thread.

Going to try and catch a short nap now before hitting the road for work.

Oh and by the way because of the power curve you might get better times in the Copen driving it manual instead of automatic like I do. The HP and Torque appear to plunge right before redline. Otherwise their pretty flat.

I WENT UNDER 8:00.000!!! :D :D :D I did a 7:54.1xx on my second lap! The car's great fun, it's like a FF go kart!! :D It's so stiff the car goes on two wheels when you chuck it into a bend :D

Cool!
Yeah I'm thinking about softening it up a little so it doesn't feel like its about to flip out of control, hopefully get a smoother cleaner run through that way.

'OI!! Ol' Wallbanger, THE COPEN IS TOO UNDERPOWERED, YA CAN'T ROLL IT!! YA HEAR ME? YOU CAN'T ROLL IT!!!!!!!' :D  :P :dopey:

To late! though it is a hoot when the camera elects from the car and you see it doing cartwheels bouncing from nose to tail and spinning like a top the whole time.:scared::dopey::drool::D

In matte black? I WANT ONE! I'LL EVEN SHIP IT TO HK MYSELF!!! If only I was old enough, I would whack a turbo from a dragster on it :D :dopey: :P :)
