More classics, wire spoke rims, thin tires, loud engines and quirky handling. love them all.
More championships with different era\country\power classic cars. hope they throw in that Art Morrison 55 Bel Air. ![]() Oops. just read Pre WW2. thats not classic era, thats like paleolithic, first ice age, jurassic. ahahahaha |

No, No No.
It needs a lot of investment from PD (time, development, tuning etc.) and the driving on those cars is mostly boring since they drive very slow, acceleration is almost zero and the handling is poor. Imagine yourself driving the Nurburgring with one of those cars - it will take you about 1 hour for one lap...and I guess the gear changing will be very little since the speed is low. I prefer having more modern & fast cars to have tight racing with other opponents. |

It has held 47 land speed records since it was built in 1933, and still runs twice a year (its now located at the Brooklands museum). Kind of disproves the all being slow bit (by the way I could do this all day, the number of stupidly fast cars from that era is quite surprisingly large), and woulld certainly be a challenge to drive quickly given that the Railton only had rear brakes. I am all for it, as well as a few post (barely) WWII cars from the late 40's, early 50's that weren't outright sports cars. Oh and in stanard form too, not some hotrod or done up 55-57 chev.
It wold be cool, what as the oldest car before other then 1st 2 cars ever? The AUDI?
Exactly. |

I don't know how many are going to be in the game, but PD are already showing a bit of emphasis on some of these classic models, aren't they? GT4 had some classics, and GT5P's museum thing showed us some classics as well. At the least, PD is more aware of it much more than the "now" that is Turn 10 lmao.

I honestly believe that PD should place some more of the classical automobiles in the Gran Turismo Series. Some have been mentioned above that are more than worthy of inclusion. At the end of the day, GT is supposed to be a simulator, and as KY once stated that he intended for GT to be a way of immortalising classics, what better to immortalise than, well, the classics!

![]() Some of those car's do deserve recognition though, they started it all. Without them, there would be alot less Car manufacturere's today and some of the greatest races in the world started with them. So as nasty as they may look to some, they still deserve credit. Love your timescale for them though lol, some of the maker's of those Car's are still alive lol! ![]() Rusty* |

I think we mean vintage or antique rather than Classic cars.
But anyway.. yes, that would be good to see more so long as they're decently powerful. that's my opinion. Take for example those 1hp Daimler Motor Caridge things in GT4, boring and slow. Edit: Just read about that 24 litre thing. Heres some off topic but interesting information. See thats not a car engine, never was. It's actually an aircraft engine. Because what they used to do back in those days is take the engines out of planes, remove the propeller and propeller shaft (obviously) and you know.. modify it to fit in the car (put a gear box etc etc...) then send it accross salt flats to try to break to land speed record. So thats the reason why its got 24 litres and 500 hp.
