That's why it's important to participate. There may well be drivers faster than you in your old division, but if these faster drivers don't participate enough, then I have no data to make a judgement.

Understanding how this has worked historically, I think I can safely answer on Sphinx's behalf. There's no hard and fast rule to determine promotions. As a general rule, if a racer consistently performs at a level that is above the other drivers in their division, and is on par with the drivers in the next division, they will be promoted.

I think what he was saying in the quote, is that if we have limited overall participation, or if a driver does not frequently participate, it's difficult to gauge promotions.

But ultimately, the whole intent of the division structure is to have several competitions going on every week. So no matter what division you are in, go out and do your best, don't sweat it, and when it's time to be moved up, you'll be moved up.
