We Don't Need Roads
Sadly, as Arduis said, that is motor racing.
I've seen drivers who deserve everything they get in terms of championships and accolades, but for every one of them theres two or three who don't. As I've grown close to a few drivers over the past two years it really pains me to see it. I've spoken with one driver who was pig sick after this years Autosport awards, but has to pick himself up and start all over again. Nine times out of ten the talent will get you through, but there will always be the few who do have the 'shoulda, woulda, coulda' as Arduis said. Every formule will have them from tin tops to single seaters. Sadly though, some of them are just 'coulda, woulda, shoulda' stories. I once had trials at a football club, I played with a player who is now highly tipped to play at a high level etc etc. Every sport has them. It might sound stupid, but good racing drivers aren't a rare breed. Its the great ones which are. And for what it's worth, I don't believe Kubica is a 'great' one. It's a shame he'll never be able to prove me wrong. |

I actually would like to hear what he really has to say about living in Schumacher's shadow. Things like Germany 2000 and USA & Austria 2002 would be great to read about And Button's, to an extent. Yeah he was 37, but he had a great car but just couldn't quite make it work. |

That's really too bad. I hope he gets better but it's not looking to good right now.

So I'm guessing a paddle shifter is out of the question then.

That sucks for Kubica, however I dont think Alguersuari should have said anything about his condition. If we never saw and heard a Kubica interview lately it's for a reason, it's because he obviously dont want to talk about his situation. I think you have to respect that but oh well.
For replacing Massa, there's so many name floating around, Hamilton, Vettel even Bianchi if Alonso dont want to compete with Hamilton or Vettel. |

Alonso and Hamilton in the same team again? Forget it. It's not going to happen.

Save to say Kubica isn't coming back to F1?

Looks that way. Like Alessandro Nannini (who suffered similar injuries in a helicopter crash) a talented, popular driver's career at the top level may be over. Maybe Robert could open a chain of cafe's.
![]() Still, Kubica is a very determined person, and I wouldn't put a comeback 100% out of the question. |

Well, you can be determined, but if your body fails you, what can you do?

He may not be able to hold a glass of water but he's apparently been back out in a rally car (Skoda).
Saw these on a rallying forum. ![]() ![]() Trooper |

I think a Glass of water scores lower on the difficulty meter than Kart and Rally driving. But hey, what do i know?
