G.U.N., the blatant American military stand-in, uses Soviet attack helicopters for troop/prisoner transport. I laughed my ass off when I first noticed it.
It's worth noting, however, that GUN actually stands for Guardians of the United Nations - so they're more like world police than just the American military.

Wait... World Police? That sounds awfully familia-

**** YEAH!!!

Point taken...

I HEAVILY revised Angel's backstory and position since last I drew her, so, here ya go. :3

Should note that since I drew this, I've started doodling ponies at work, and I'm getting better at it. I especially like the expressiveness of the MLP face. Really helps me learn expressions well.

If only equine anatomy wasn't so hard to draw. Mine keep coming out like the toys with their oversized heads...So used to drawing bipedals....X<

Now that song is stuck in my head. And now I picture the mayor confusing Star Trek and Star Wars.

Toxic Mario did another comic:

It just feels like the panel where the punchline would be got cut off by Chrome or something... :S

Also, I called my pony GrapeKeister because it's a lot better than Hasbro's name for him.

Maybe... Toxic-Mario's comics aren't supposed to be funny. Like how Veggie55 occasionally does an adult Scoots comic that is supposed to be taken at face value.

Or maybe he just doesn't have any comedic timing. I dunno. It does seem odd that he keeps doing comics that have no jokes in them.

I wish that guy got the line right. It may have been funny then, instead it was just sad.

And that comic has no punch line. You can't post that here, everything here must be funny.
Maybe it's an anti-joke joke. Think about it.

Wait no, it just isn't funny.

But in that respect, Toro, Veggie's comics are always either heartbreakingly adorable adult Scoots, funny, or at least do...something.

Thing with Toxic Mario is, yeah they're well drawn, beautifully, but....it just doesn't really do anything. It doesn't make me feel anything.

Yeah, I get what you are saying. It almost seems like there is no point to them. Like a story with no conflict to resolve.

Or, rather, perhaps less mean-sounding, they don't work as comics and are instead just pictures that are related to each other.

Not that hard to come up with a better name than the ones Hasbro issued those blind bag ponies with.

They just seem to tell a story, albeit a short one, and not much else. They have no comedic value either, plus they seem so plain to me. The drawings that are used are nice though.

His artwork is good, he just can't write for it...kind of like how I consider myself a better writer than an artist.

So the reason I haven't been posting is because my wi-fi is being really weird right now. All devices connect other than my laptop, and even with a usb wi-fi adapter I can't connect, so I've been ing with it since around 2. Just found out my mom has an Air Card, so I can connect albeit with a very slow connection from where I'm sitting.

And because of that this relatively short post took forever.

This is really really adorable.

Suddenly I want to be back on a Jamaica beach with a tropical drink and best pony.

Damn, was Ponibooru available to everyone else but us today? I'm 25 pages in and I still haven't found the stuff that was up last night.

Since dash is holding a pistol up there, I might as well bring the subject up again...kinda.

RAINBOW DASH was leaving the quartermaster, her sidearm folded neatly in the quick-draw rig strapped to her side. The design of the rig was such that it unfolded over her shoulder when she pulled a catch, and the gun, an Equestrian Short Rifle, was mounted on a swivel beside her head, so she could point it where she liked. The other option for concealable weaponry was the old solution - a gun mounted to the foreleg, was a bit more awkward to use, having to stand on three legs, but had a larger range of motion. The problem with that was that it was also much less safe, exposing the hoof and wrist to injury from bullets.
That was from my RP. My gun-nut friend, Blue, suggested that it might be better to be on four legs for a quadruped rather than three while shooting, ducking, and dodging. The "Short rifle," (handgun, basically) then would have a bit which you'd use to aim it, and then chomp down to fire. There'd be enough flexibility and padding in the mechanism to prevent the recoil and vibrations from chipping a tooth. I kept the wrist-trigger arm gun as an older "secondary" option.

also thought of an underslung mechanism for this type of weapon, so that it'd come out from under a vest. The issue is that when I tried to draw it, it was so complex that it'd never work.

Granted...this is probably overthinking it for casual use, but whatever. XD

"Twitch ankle to fire."

Considering how horses walk, that seems comically unsafe.

Step, bang. Step, bang.

@The comic, I hate it when that happens.

About the pony gun diagram. Is it a good idea to have them connected together like that? I don't thing the pony in the front is too safe.
