After all of the unintentional similarities everyone here (akiraacecombat especially) keeps finding, that doesn't make me feel any better.

Well, if the readers are finding similarities, I'm certain that it's because you and I just view Trixie as a character in a very similar way;

Your detailing of how you're planning on handling Trixie's illeism is nearly spot-on to what I have in mind when writing her. This is a bit of a subtle character detail that's been present for a few chapters now, but I spaced it a little in case you don't want to read the spoiler and find out for yourself:





in TBoTS, there's a specific point where Trixie outright stopped referring to herself as 'Great and Powerful' in speech for the rest of the following chapters.

This is extremely long winded, and has not gotten into MLP yet despite two pages. I have now worked the Armageddon Van into a key plot point, and I feel I should mention I've gotten the crazy idea that the Armageddon Van is liable to be a new Element of Harmony.

I asked someone who, *gasp* doesn't like Trixie (I know, right?) what he thought about it, specifically whether they thought the ending was planted in the "Trying Too Hard" section (because I had been worried about that ever since I wrote it). He said it sorta was, and explained why (and I agree with his explanation), so I'm going to have to figure out what to do with that.

What do you think? Because other than checking it again for spelling, with the Princess Celestia letter done I'm basically ready to submit the first chapter.

Looks alright to me, although:

I think you could add "Sometimes if you actually get to know somepony" just before saying "You just may find that they aren’t so different from yourself". I also think that replacing the word "may" with "might" in that sentence would work better as well because "you just may find" doesn't sound right to me for some reason.

Those are the only alterations I can think of really, unless you're already happy with how it is.
