Am I the only one thinking the X2010/PDI Kart shot has no real place in the poll, There is no way the kart would finish anywhere near it, Maybe im missing the point.

I voted for the 5th one (1st Nascar shot), its one of the only ones that looks like it could've actually happened, most of the others seem to be pre-planned and done on purpose.

Thanks, yeah, it may have only been a 3 lap race, but that was the 3rd lap, and like I said on my post of the entry, I won by .000, :indiff: and I'm Jr., lol, I was gonna start ramming him like the 2003 Darlington race between Kurt Busch and Rickey Craven (most exciting finish I've ever seen) thats why my car is going up towards Montoya's car :scared: lol

Maybe they gave the Kart a head start, a HUGE head start, lol

i can assure you mine wasn't. i was bringing up the rear in a 1 make race with a bunch of F2007's & that was how it finished.

Well i didn't intend on making anybody mad by entering that picture but that is the judges choice.
I just thought of a funny idea and posted the result here.
don't look at me at least i captured it in a real track unlike one photo here

Criticism?

Its not a photo finish. It looks like it was taken on the Mulsanne straight rather than by the finish line, a lot of other shots simply didn't match the theme and missed out too which is a shame because its a nice shot.

Ahh yup, very true. I didn't realize we needed the finish line in the shot, I completely misinterpreted the theme.

Not mad at you in the slightest mate the idea behind it is quite superb that I will admit, Its just my personal opinion that it would have been possibly better suited to a different theme is all, Judges decision afterall.

I'm sorry guys - you got me on the Toscana shot - I missed that one. :dunce: If Slipz wants me to choose another photo to replace it, I will do so.

Regarding the cart v. Vettel, I simply liked the picture. The color and tone was great, the composition was good, and the scene complied with the theme. The rules did not require the picture to be realistic.

In the future guys, lets keep the comments positive. If you have a problem with the way the poll turned out, please remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Please, let's not get upset if we didn't make the poll or you personally don't like the photos that did.

Regarding your photo Schwaag, it is truly beautiful. I love the angle, the tones, and the composition. It just isn't a "photo finish" if it's on the back straightaway at Cirque de la Sarthe. :)

The X1/Kart shot is brilliant and very creative at that.

I can't believe I made it and that I have votes.

Woops, sorry about that folks! The image is removed - FishyJuice and kaede, please re-cast your votes!

Great shots everyone. I voted for the 1st Nascar from the top. It looks like they were in a battle, nicely done.
