While the cone is great, and an out of the box, unique shot, but i can't help but think that people are voting for it just because it's funny...

It's also well composed and fits the theme perfectly! Normally centering a subject is avoided in photography but in some situations it works really well. This is one of those situations. 👍

But I also think there are more than a few shots who deserve a win this week! You can blindly pick one Entry and make a good choice with it! This poll, and I'm glad I'm in it too, is full of winning-pics. 👍​

It is, and I know, It's a brillant shot and I love it. It was between that, mitch's and RG's for my vote, but I'm just saying that I think some people are voting just because it's funny, and not on artistic merit.
 
Absolutely love the cone :lol:

It was really hard to choose. Some are surreal master pieces but not so great photos, and some are great artistic photos but not surreal enough imo. So I narrowed it down to one that has the surreal qualities and photographic qualities in one. And it was made by one of my old favorite artists in here, that seems to have made a return :)👍
 
The image of a cone is quite a surreal photo TBH. That's why I ended up voting for it. The centering and lighting make it quite bizarre and dream-like.

My second choices were the Blade's Edge, the dream Castle and the one under the cone image, whatever the hell it is. :lol:


At first glance, most surreal artworks appear funny to me anyway, until I look at them for a minute.
 
Wow, can't believe I made it into such an amazing poll :dunce: Thought I'd just throw the castle in for fun. But when I actually try I never make it to the poll :crazy:

And now comes the hard part. How am I supposed to choose one when all these pics are so awesome :confused:
