Yes! with race cars of course (sick and tired of those 4h and 9h b**s***, racing those once are enough)

Edit: 1-2 hour races would be great

Maximum of 1 or 2 hours would be acceptable.

Very bad that you couldn't save endurance races in the past. Now you can, but you have to continue the race with the next start of GT5. Not able to do anything else in the game, before you have finished the race.

They should introduce a system, where you can save a race and continue whenever you like. Like Microprose Formula-One Grand-Prix was able to in 1992

Or enable (like in GT4) to go to the pits and give the car to the B-SPEC-BOB. So You can have a short break.

I did that at Tsukuba in GT4 and had to spend every minute of the last 6 hours to make up for it. And I had practiced him a lot. Turned out to be quite a fun challenge, but not what I had hoped for.

I think a 1-2hr race would be fun as well. And I also agree that having Bob step in would make the endurance races less tasking

Longer races at a track would be great - childish sprint races of 3-5 laps is fair enough -

A bit like fast food - nice and easy

But some people may like a feast - I'd quite a learning curve series at a certain track.
30 minute in a More basic car
60 minutes in a faster car
and a 2 hour event in a DTM/GT style car

So many tracks have got unused pit lanes -
at 200 miler at Trial Mountain where tyre wear and fuel use could be a factor - car damage would also be nice...

Super long enduroes - why not more choice

Rewards? Seems like you get the keys to Fort Knox as it is.
I'd quite like a "Retro" feel to some of the tracks.

Maybe a special car livery on what would be a basic car.
The Herbie Stripe for a VW, Racing decals on an otherwise normal E-Type - like a pace car or a retro point to point rally car -

Maybe a blonde passenger for your Ferarri California - (I know we need a red head)
Win the 300km of Roma and the passenger is yours - just don't flip the car.

The thought of enduros over 2 hours playing solo leaves me cold, but that's the same with real life enduros, you don't do them alone. I've completed all the GT A spec enduros except the Ring (will start this week) and have absolutely loved them. Pick a car that is going to prove a challenge to win in and then, and this is the crucial point, get a mate to join you. Do real time driver changes every pit stop (tyres or fuel) and also analyse what the competition do and change you strategy accordingly. We did the Tksuba 9 hour over 2 evenings racing and ended up winning, after 9 hours, by just 3 seconds. The tension for those closing laps was unreal, but the elation of the win worth every minute of effort.

Equally driving through the night in the rain at Le Sarth, then seeing the sunrise and swapping tyres as the track dried was also amazing.

I would love to see more enduros, especially on Seasonal events.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could do the endurance races with 2 of your PSN Friends? Split the cash and everyone gets a prize. I know it would be next to impossible to do through the network, but it seems like it would be fun.

I wouldn't mind them, but I wouldn't be heartbroken without them. They would have to be tough though, If I'm spending a lot of time on something, it has to be worth my while.

It's a double edged sword. You try and pick a car that will be competitive but if you lose, you just wasted a lot of time.

I wish you could make setup changes to the cars during pit stops which could help with this. Not pause the game or anything, make it so you can change the setup in the pits while the race is running.

In a way you can. Choose a car that is barely competitive with Sports Soft tyres, and if you find later in the race you are too far behind, switch to Racing Hard or Racing Soft at the pitstops to make up the time

Anything longer than 1-2 hours is too much. Between 30 minutes and 90 minutes is probably your functional 'sweet spot'.

Loved the Indy 500 and the Grand Valley 300 km
Indy 500 A-Spec was one hell of a challenge, i didn't have the formula GT back then, Pwnd the competition in a ridiculously overpowered C60 Hybride Judd

Yes. An hour race in seasonal with ability to choose range of tires like in a spec and weather change and/or day and night transition would be nice. We can then choose weaker tire than AI and make up for that, if necessary, later. Heavy damage on so that a crash would cripple the race. With that a level 21,22,23,24 tickets would be nice.

Doing the 90 laps of Laguna Seca right now (taking a short break). I think as some people have suggested - 1 to 2 hours is enough, I'm not looking forward to the 9 and 24 hour races - and rarely attempt this series for the entire time I have had the game.

So yes, would like short endurance race in seasonals (is an hour endurance?)

Yes, I would like to see some Endurance races in the Seasonal Events, why not? Although, in comparison to the regular seasonal's the prizes would have to be extremely large to hold my interest, and if there were ticket rewards they would have to be able to be won more than once.
