System recommendation to play iRacing

Hi all, is my first post in gtplanet...I hope it is the right one.

I would like to buy a new PC to play iracing (I have a projector, so single but big screen) but my budget is quite limited.

Any recommendation regarding which PC to buy?

I run iRacing on an older i5 - 3.3Ghz processor, 8GB ram and a 2GB GPU. iRacing runs with no problems and I have the frame cap rate of 120fps.


I bet an expert on computers will be along shortly and give you some good advice.

Have you considereed building your own rig? just doing a quick look at component prices here in North America and you might be able to build your own with same specs for about the same price? or at least know the components going into your rig.
