Just bought my 7th Steely Dan album, this time on iTunes... "Gaucho" is the only 'original' Steely Dan album missing from my collection...

Amazingly, you can buy all seven albums in one 'box set' (called "Citizen Steely Dan") for just £7.99 on iTunes And to think my collection has cost me about £35 already

And in the U.S., it looks like it's 66 songs for $24.99. Considering each songs by themselves go for $.99, it is a bargain!

I ordered these last week, but I've been ill, so I finally got around to picking these up today from BestBuy:
Jack Johnson - Sleep Through The Static(CD)

Jack Johnson(and Friends) - A Weekend At The Greek +Live In Japan(DVD)

DVDs I'm watching right now, and they are pretty cool. Just lots of his live footage, shot in style similar to DVD bonus feature documentaries. I haven't heard the new CD yet, but I hope it's good.

There's some decent Metric stuff out there, I like them. If you like that style, check out The Sounds and Shiny Toy Guns (hunt down the first release of We Are Pilots, it's better than the mainstream-produced version) who are also both good new wave-ey female vocal electropop bands.

Music For Films by Brian Eno. I'm listening to it right now. It would be excellent driving music imo.
