Star Trek Nemisis!!

Hey how many people are looking forward to the new star trek movie, I for 1 plan on seeing it on opening night.

I will probably wait for it to come to video.
But, I'll probably get it long before it gets to the $9.96 rack at Wal-Mart.

Star Trek has gotten way better since the days of Kirk and Kahn.

oh yeah it has, its still really funny watching kirks outdated acting.

Plus I heard the movie was written by a Trek fan.

I can't wait to see it. It looks better than the last one. now that I look back Insurrection was an okay movie, but didnt have enough of the standard "blow stuff up, battles to the death" like Star Wars has(Yes i know i've brought up SW but you have to admit, Its awesome). I hate comparing SW to ST because I like them both so much. I tend to like movies with action.... that plot stuff tends to get in the way.

I'm gonna go see it if I don't have to work that night. Eh, I might go see it at the early show if any of my friends want to.

I agree with Matrixhasu77 about Insurrection not having enough action, but I read in the Star Trek Communicator that the reason they made it like they did was because people complained about the movie before, First Contact, which IMO was the best one. Well second best. Best was The Voyage Home.

I've seen the trailer, and it looks good, so I'll be going to see it when it comes out.

Star Trek is a little too politically-correct for my liking - it's all about trying to work out situations diplomatically, which is fine because lots of people don't get killed, but it can get kinda dull.

Now, Babylon 5, there's a sci-fi series.

I'm going to see it Saturday. Hopefully, it will be better than Insurrection.

Babylon 5? Blah! Wing Commander is REAL sci-fi!

off topic...Babylon 5 was a good series.. i wish it were still on tv. I probably watched just about every episode of the series' 5 year run. Some of the newer tv movies aren't as good as I expected though. On-topic, I hope to see Nemesis with a friend in the next week or so.

Viper, it blows Insurrection outta this dimention.

I saw it today at the 1 PM show. It was not what I was expecting, it was somewhat better. There are some things done for an obvious laugh, and some big suprises. Well, that's all I'm gonna say. Ain't gonna ruin it for all you ppl that have lives

I just got back from seeing it and i agree.

I liked it a lot but, I rolled my eyes a lot by how cheesy it is. It's almost like they were making fun at them selves, especially the beginning, not funny at all.

I really liked the new Warp trail and effects and the new Transporter beam. It seems like they redesigned some parts of the ship, like Picard's "office" and the Ready Room.

Also, the end... the most depressing ending to Star Trek since Spock's death in The Wrath of Khan...

I think First Contact is still the best TNG movie and The Wrath of Khan is the best Trek movie ever.

Add some spoilers to the topic and we can talk about it as well as correct THAT spelling mistake

And its not the most depressing ending....
