Hey if it's the Mazda 6 or MS Protege, I'll make an award for it.

Well, I could do that for any of them really. Just ask if you want one Doug.

Sport Compact Car voted the new Neon SRT (whatever) turbo their "Car of the year"

0-60 in 5.8 seconds according to there tests.

My personal favorite of the cars listed above would have to be the Mazda 6. Very sharp looking car.

they gave the SRT their sport compact car award... which is understandable, it's the best bargain you can get, even if it looks like total ****.

Motor Trend gave their award to the G35, but Motor Trend is only slightly better than Supercars.net, we all know that.

I think Road and Track or Car and Driver will give their award to the G35, my personal opinion but Autoweek, probably the 6.

Autoweek liked the 6. The only things they didn't like were the slightly noisy interior and controlls a tad too low.

They got 0-60 in 6.8 secs, that's fast for a midsized sedan with a max price of $23K(Autoweek's 6S was $21K).

Car and Driver already awarded the G35 coupe their 10Best award.

You can also read their full review of the G35 coupe here.

Well I voted for the Tuscan R.
I wonder if a certain brummie voted for it as well.

Personally I dont like the G35, but we don't get Infiniti's in the UK. So I would have voted for the 350Z.

Although I'm sure the G35 will win, I had to stand by my nomination of the Tuscan R. IMO, it's just too much of a future classic (if not present classic) to ignore.

Although I voted XC90, I agree with the above statement. The coupe's looks are too much for me, so I prefer the (still potent) sedan.

I dont see why the G35 Coupe and Sedan are grouped together. I think the G35 Coupe and the 350Z should be grouped if anything.

The reason I say this is because the G35 Coupe/350Z is way more significant to the market than the G35 Sedan. Semi-Performance, entry level luxury sedans have been running rampant for the past 7-8 years and the market seems to be unstoppable. I see the success of the G35 Coupe/350Z to be a way bigger step in the evolution of the automobile than the Sedan version

PS: Who is going to make up a more convenient name for the G35 Coupe. Because there is no way I am going to write that out everytime we talk about it. Same with the G35 Sedan for that matter, although it was originally known as just the "G35".

I am very happy that Nissan released the 350Z under that name (350Z) rather than the previuosly chosen name of just "Z".

"Z" is too awkward to say on its own. Plus, the numbers 350 feed on american car history as a name of power. i.e. The Chevy's world-famous 350 engines. 350Z is just such a good name and it is very enjoyable to say.

Sorry to post again, but I have seen quite a few G35 Coupes. I am very happy that Nissan is getting rewarded for trusting their survival on car enthusiast and their need for a REAL car with some balls.

Nissan isn't the first company to get bailed out by pleasing and getting the attention of the worlds car enthusiasts with a true drivers car with some substance.

Only because they were nominated together, more than once.

Yeah, they'd sell just about anywhere. But I like the Primera better. Does Australia still get the Primera?
