Links will be updated later as soon as lifestream can upload those videos onto the FTP. So far, it looks like CudaMan and his apprentice [NSX] are dominating the competition. Will there be someone to challenge them in the next competition? There will be, sooner or later

The next drift competition will be soon posted as soon as my 56K stops acting up on me

Just so everyone knows, the NSX in this week's entry was driven by my roommate Daniel. Taught him everything he knows. Actually he taught me one thing I did for this video...

I need to get some pics of our Drift Lab here. It's fun.

/me is anxious for the videos too...

When lifestream's on AIM, I'll talk to him. He's in charge of the videos for the drift competition

I just watched Cudaman's and they look pretty cool! Although, the NSX video is quite jumpy.

sweet vids, I love the 360 drift with the Razo Silvia, I've been trying those for ages and can only do them with 4wd cars.
Got any tips?

That spin was what my roommate taught me. I wanted to do it for months, a bit before that video came out that featured a blue ZZII spin-drifting into the hairpin at Laguna Seca (well done on that one). But I could never figure out how to get a RWD car to do it. I'm still not sure how I did it, but I know now it has something to do with pulling the e-brake and stabbing the brakes at the right times. Not very helpful I know, but it's not a technique I use a lot so I'm new to it too.

Odd, it was recorded and encoded the same way the RAZO Silvia video was.

Folks, I actually have video of our dorifto laboratory now. Postage soon.

oh and cudaman, do you have ur silvia settings posted in the drift settings depot? i can't seem to find them

Nope, I'm not even sure what my settings are... I dont' remember if I did anything to the car other than put sim tires on it and remove all rear downforce. IMO settings aren't very important in being able to drift - they're just a means to suit your style.

My digital camera records in QuickTime format, which is OK but WMV generally can produce smaller file sizes. I used a video editor to add the text and music to my video, and then I rendered it into a WMV file using the same program.
