That spin was what my roommate taught me.
I wanted to do it for months, a bit before that video came out that featured a blue ZZII spin-drifting into the hairpin at Laguna Seca (well done on that one). But I could never figure out how to get a RWD car to do it. I'm still not sure how I did it, but I know now it has something to do with pulling the e-brake and stabbing the brakes at the right times. Not very helpful I know, but it's not a technique I use a lot so I'm new to it too.

Although, the NSX video is quite jumpy.
Folks, I actually have video of our dorifto laboratory now. Postage soon.

Nope, I'm not even sure what my settings are... I dont' remember if I did anything to the car other than put sim tires on it and remove all rear downforce. IMO settings aren't very important in being able to drift - they're just a means to suit your style.
My digital camera records in QuickTime format, which is OK but WMV generally can produce smaller file sizes. I used a video editor to add the text and music to my video, and then I rendered it into a WMV file using the same program. |
