I bought the Deltawing with the intent to try this. I bought the newer chrome version with a higher PP. Might have to add the high end turbo which adds ~110HP.

I used one of the C60's and slowed down a ton on lap 14 to get it over with and get the win. Margin of victory ended up being in the 30 second range. It could have been much higher if I would have run at speed on lap 14 and run lap 15.

I wonder if you could run a one stop strategy with the Delta Wing. If I try it again, I might take a shot with a tuned up GT3 car.

You would have to be so gentle on the tires and throttle to do a 1 stop. But I could probably do it with the 908. I stop twice and putt 60 litres in both pit stops but I'm pounding threw the corners and am hard on the throttle.

I'm thinking the low weight of the Delta Wing might make it possible. Of course this is with no testing and very few laps in game with the car. It's just a guess on my part and it could be terribly wrong.

I used the 908, no tune, 2 stop, won by about 10 seconds. I was pretty rusty since I haven't driven anything in a month, lol. First stop was about 9 minutes in for RH, then second stop was with about 5:30 left for RS just to ensure victory. Last lap was gentle because I didn't want to restart!

I might try it with the Deltawing. I haven't driven it at all actually, so it will be fun to learn it!

The only way the Deltawing works at Daytona is if you have a wheel. The high banks of Daytona will bottom out the car causing controller players to push into the wall. The throttle needs to be lifted with a controller. I spent a month trying to get it to turn. I got it stable but still had to lift where the wheel will be full throttle.

You mean you spent a month convincing yourself that is was in the car itself

Over the last few months, @msgt-sd , @Rednose58 , @MajorBlixem and myself have been working on rebuilding the S.N.A.I.L. Directors' Points Tally and Elimination Votes - New and the S.N.A.I.L. Results - New Google docs. The new sheets should be ready to put in production at the beginning of the February season, on the 8th.

To meet this deadline we will need all score-keeping done by the usual deadline but, data entry will need to be done as early as possible following racing tonight, so the existing data can be copied to the new documents, Promotion and Relegation can be accomplished and archives can be made. In other words, from a data standpoint, there will be no week off. Everything we do for data will actually need to be done a day or two sooner. We will be using the off week to do final testing of the new sheets.

Permissions to the sheets will be adjusted as shown in the Team SNAIL tab in the Results sheet for both the scorekeeping and results documents. Division Managers, please ensure that tab correctly reflects your division's operational team. A full audit will also be accomplished for the replay folders, although this will be precluded by making sure the new sheets are set up and working properly.

These documents;
will be updated to reflect the changes in the sheets the score keepers and data entry specialists will need to be aware of.

Thank you for your assistance with this effort.

Dragonwhisky.

Early reports for the GTPlanet D24 put SSR Motorsports on the front row in LM P2 and also on the front row for GT500. Official results will be posted when they become available.
