That's actually a lot closer to the original than I originally realized.

Also, the Mustang now shares the same integral link IRS system first seen on the Fusion.

I am so bummed out. There was a Motortrend sponsored car show this weekend in Albuquerque and there was a orange coupe 2015 Mustang on display and I missed it. :(

“For five decades, the Camaro and the Mustang have been battling it out in every possible setting,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president of GM Global Product Development. “These two cars have been striving to beat each other on the track, on the drag strip and on the streets. That competition is a big part of why both cars are so amazing, and so popular, today.”

And while we're on the subject...

Ford's 50th Anniversary Mustang announced

It looks like its an all-options affair, including the Performance Package, and its available with a manual or an automatic. Keep in mind, this is the only way you can get the Performance Package with a slushbox. Interesting choice, Ford.

And, yet again, I'm reminded of how ridiculous this car looks with that absolutely massive pony in the grille.

That's a pretty big leap from what he said.
Maybe right now but its certainly nt the first time he's flat out said they suck because pushrods.

Anyway today is going to be a big day...

That Mustang looks so much better with the round badge between the lights. I am liking that the performance cars are only being offered with a manual. That's awesome.

More news about the 2.3 Turbo? Bueller? Bueller?
And cosidering the fact that ecoboost motors this far have been developing most of the torque and boost from what, 1200-1500rpm onwards?
It can be repainted or you can put a vinyl on it.. Who cares about the color as long as its black, all I want is more info on the 4banger turbo.

Really cause I can show you all the post in this thread alone that keep harping on the I4. If we had more info about it don't you think we'd give it? We get he likes it but to bringing it up every time when we aren't even talking about engine and capacity just to assert, isn't needed or adding to the thread. Especially when people are looking for info themselves in a more general sense. Also past history on threads like this says otherwise with said user regarding V8s. The point is we don't know because the info hasn't been given but I'm sure @Slash will be the first to let us know when it arrives.

You can count on it 👍

I quite like how the glass is louvered.

That interior is quite nice as well. Better than I expected.

I don't know that Transmission tunnel is quite large...it's weird to me and looks to plain and the seats remind me of the fourth gen too much. Not sure I like the material being used maybe if I saw it in person. But yeah that center is just kind of big, maybe when the car is out more I'll go to a local ford dealer and test one.

 I know

It don't think it's that big because of the transmission, but that big as a convenience factor, since it's closer to your mid section and that means less reaching around is required to access your stuff. It's like this in the new Fusion, and I rather like that (my uncle just bought one). They almost got that car right, but the arm rests are too damn far away.

Anyways, here's more pics of the 50th.

I absolutely love it.

Louvered rear windows are one retro touch around the B-C pillar that definitely need to make a comeback. They make that useless little window useful for something, once again.

I can imagine that would be useful on the racetrack, if you've got the AC off and the vents open. :D

That little thing earlier was uncalled for. I don't hate V8's. I do, however, dislike pushrods. Also, I'm very interested of that Ecoboost 4banger because it will be cheaper than the V8, more economical than the V8, and probably can easily match the V8's performance without spending as much money as the price difference between the 5.0 GT and "SVO" will be.
