I'm about 90% sure that they were already planning on bringing the Mustang to Australia. You know, to make up for killing off the Falcon.

They unveiled the convertible in Australia, so I don't see why not.

50 years of Mustang faces and it's evolution (since Ford lopped off 30 years of Mustangs). I am including various Shelby's due to their significance but no other models.

And that's not even close to being "all" of them

I left out Bullets, other GT/CS's, Twister Specials, Sidewinder Specials, Roush's, Saleen's....could go on for ages...

I would be there is probably several thousand different models of Mustangs when you factor in aftermarket companies like Shelby (though in house), Saleen, SVT (in house), Steeda and Roush. Between them alone is several hundred.

Good luck finding a good picture of a straight on view of an SN95 for all models. Cause I spent an hour just looking for those.

Good Idea: Sharing photos of Mustang evolution.

Bad Idea: Putting them all in one post on the same page like a moron.

Pretty much, I always thought of the Mustang being similar to the Porsche 911 in that sense. A car that has been around for such a long time and along the way has spawned way more variations than I can count.

Well, it appears that Ford doesn't want you to drag race the new Mustang. You void the warranty if you race it at a drag strip, but not if you do a solo run, if you're testing it.

I know people will say "Oh they've been doing this for years with other companies, myah", I still think it's ridiculous that they're doing this. Why do it if you expect a lot of your customers to drag race your brand new car? Why implement line locks if you don't want your customers racing their cars legally?

I think what angers people is that they advertise link lock and then tell people they can't really use it.

I'm a diehard Ford guy, but I'm kinda shaking my head at Ford for this. I think they're just finding a practical way to save more money.

New parts are expensive to replace because there's no aftermarket yet.
