This Post went from me asking a question about colors being obtained to me making a list for all of us. So my original posting has been deleted.
The lists above, {List of colors you CAN'T get from obtaining a Vision car}, and {List of colors people have stated you CAN get from buying the said Vision vehicle},
are ongoing lists that I will add more info as you all post it. All I ask is that you be really-really sure if you tell us you can get a color that you did get it from the car and not from another source (like a seasonal race win).
Any and all help is appreciated, this list is for all of us so noone has to waste choices-money-chance-ect on colors and end up not getting the color you wanted.

Why spend money on VGT's? Don't you get them for free from doing the seasonal event? :banghead:

I'm guessing the car was bought for the extra chip???

I know that I bought a Black MP12C for the (I think) Cosmos Black chip - long story - however I couldn't use that chip on the RenaultSport Megane.



I may have to edit this when I get home with actuals. The cars are correct though!
 
No, and yes.
you get 1 choice doing the seasonal, then any other color chip you want, you have to buy, unless some other car has the same chip.

This however isnt the point of the thread, lol.
point is, wether you got your option free 'once', or spent the cash after that, some colors give you the chip to reuse on other cars, and some do not.
The color Matte Purple does NOT.
 
I got the color matte purple i had won the car in the Seasonal Event. Then I bought the car for the deep purple color and also did not get the color

You means Infiniti concept VGT is which paint chips cannot receive?
 
You can't get any of the Infiniti VGT colours I think. I bought Iridescent, Jade, Silver, Deep Purple, Matt Purple, Coral and didn't get any paint chips.

At first, I thought maybe you had to BUY the car to get the chip. Maybe that is a possibility, but I remember getting chips from previous Visions on the free win.
I also remember NOT getting the desired chip from BUYING previous Vision cars.

I would just like to know what the story is. And then maybe save someone else the loss of chance/cash when they try for a certain chip as well.

Probably in some previous seasonnal event I think I won Matte Purple in one of those events. they might come back in future events.
 
i think there should be a warning icon somewhere to identify before purchasing that you will not get a paint chip, seems many unique colors are not reusable, and its quite annoying.

I agree, it's like the Carbon fiber paint chip on the Nissan VGT I lost money on this crap...

I definitely didn't get it from the VGT's, I got it in some 'regular' seasonnals. You'll have to wait until that chip comes back if it comes back...
 
Matte Purple was awarded in a seasonal event, Matt Purple appears on the VGT and is not provided upon acquiring the car.
 
I'm going to edit my first post, and begin an ongoing list of what can be obtained from what car, and what cannot be obtained from what car.
so, so far I will add matte purple to the negative side.
keep em coming ^^ just please be 100% sure you DID get it from whatever car.

I was going to clarify this, including the spelling, but you beat me.

I wish there was an easy way to know (1), whether the chip comes with the car, and (2) whether you already obtained that chip from another car.

Of course, searching chips by name, manufacturer, etc. would be so nice.

I have Mineral White, and I'm pretty sure it came from the BMW VGT
 
Black Sapphire is 'owned' by the Vauxhall line.
Not saying someone didn't re-due it. No colors can actually be patented like they used to be.
Example;
The Bianco- line of colors.
You've got the Alfa Romeo Organization owning most of them; Bianco-gardenia, Bianco-banchisa, Bianco-farina, Bianco-Polare, Bianco-spino, and Bianco-nuvola.
Bianco-eldorado owned by Maserati,
Bianco-polo, and Bianco-Avus owned by Ferrari,
Bianco-LABRADOR, Bianco-isis, and Bianco-Monocerus owned by Lamborghini?
Meanwhile the mother color "Bianco" is actually a Fiat color lol.

But yeah, you can go buy a Vauxhall right now for under 50k and get Black Sapphire if you wanted to.
Mineral white on the other hand. . . . is one of the colors introduced new this time around.
Sorry for me going off track there and babbling, I tend to type what I think when I'm thinking to myself a lot.
Anyway, I will edit the master list with the new info.
