This thread is incredible, it's an emotional roller coaster. The excitement of seeing a beautiful car but the sorrow of knowing its being wasted. What I want to know is where does one go to find these junkyards and parks with all these cars? I would love to go on a hunt.

This is a nice collection of the oldie but goody stuff. While there are some cars depicted in the following video, it's main stream focus is on all of the old motorcycles.

There is some sweet stuff in this video. The following video is done in segments, so wait a couple of seconds between them.

Car and motorcycle find

That DB2/4 needs a good wash, a polish, and then restoring of the oily bits. Needs no paint or anything. I hope to see it again in a better state. Driving.

I hear these were left in a garage in Birmingham a long time ago, shame to see a Diablo rotting away.

A quick DVLA check shows the cars have been unlicensed since 2003. Any more info on this place?

Edit:
We don't have to worry about the Diablo as it is just a very good replica. The gearbox is the giveaway.

Spent 10 days up in New York seeing relatives. On one of those days I was up at my uncle's house, where a buddy of his keeps junked cars that he buys. There's some interesting stuff out there, and I got some pictures of what I could get to (some of them were blocked off by fallen trees and whatnot).

'81 Corvette. It still runs well, and for a while, it was my uncle's daily driver. :dopey:

Not much, but hey, it's a contribution to the thread. :P

The Bel Air is a '57 not '56. It's sad that it left there, it looks like the body is in good shape . He should fix it up and drive it.

The IROC-Z are not rare.

Yeah, a real shame. :indiff:
It's my uncle's property, but all of those vehicles are owned by a buddy of his. The guy just buys stuff and never does anything with it, so it's pretty much a graveyard for cars. :guilty:

Cool stuff, Dogglers. The 57 Chevy is painful, it looks like it was a nice little street rod in it's good days. none of it is for sale?

Also, while the IROC is not rare, it is technically rare, it's at least one of the rarest 3d gen Camaros.

also, been ages since I last posted, sooooo
I think this was, at one time, a Crosley:

I always feel bad after entering here. People should have the decency to sell the cars if they can't afford them anymore instead of letting them rot :(

There's not always a market for cars, especially non-rare cars, that would require more money spending on them to get them road worthy, then they'd be worth on the open market. No ones going to spend $25k on a abandoned 1966 Lincoln Continental when they could buy a reasonable road registered one for $13k.

I want Alfa Romeo, it's sad it was left there it is such a beautiful car.
