Age Of Empires III thread

I did that one the other day, just send the Scottish leader whatever his name is into any fights and get him to so his sword swipe move, he takes out everyone surrounding him in one go, and then after the fight he regenerates his health.

Well after 2 tries I was able to get past the defend the pyramids part. I still have to complete that mission though. With the Aztec army plus my own guys it SHOULD be a walk in the park. ;)

I hooked this to my 40" tv and got back into playing it again. I forgot how much I love this game. Here are a bunch of random screenshots. The ships and organ cannons are my favorite. I need to try the expansion again because I know there are some heavy duty ships in there. I loved this map. An island on both sides with water ever where around for ships.

I played it recently as well (in vanilla), and forgot how much i loved it.
I remember one mod that got me continuously hooked to the game, named War of the Triple Alliance (WotTA). I'll try and reinstall it if I can (unfortunately the download for mac has been removed :(, but I have it on my old computer)

I had an epic game over the weekend. So I set up a lobby called 4vs4 bots hard. People join and they want it set to expert. I tell them I am a noob and will get destroyed on expert. They insist they will save me. Fair enough I set it to expert and launch 4 people vs 4 bots expert. One of the most incredible experiences I have had with some crazy building strategies. 2 hours later we are all destroyed but not without a fith. Not only do I have this hooked to my 40" LED hdtv, I was able to get it running through my surround sound receiver instead of just the pc speakers. It was an amazing experience. Here are a few pics from the 2 hour Saturday run.
