Suzuki Monster Sport SX4 - 1:24.154

Playing the game seriously for the first time in months, so I'll go back later and run it some more with some other cars.

1:24 ain't bad, damn good for using the Fanatec too I think.

1:21.970 - RMR PM580

ikr? took the hairpins somehow perfectly and that first tarmac turn too.

Nice to see you've decided to give it a go, and that's a good time for the SX4 as well.

I could spend countless hours trying to beat you, but I feel that it would turn out to be fruitless in the end.

Try Throttling, never completely left off even when braking, it keeps your speed up quite a bit, espically in the hair pins.

Wilk has still to set a faster time. Hmmmm.

Been playing fallout 3 and bf3 all weekend lol. :)

RMR Hyundai PM580 - 1:22.557

Still working on it as of now and will edit it if I get any quicker.

If it wasn't for those two signs at either end of the hairpin section near the start, then this would be so much easier. Then I'd only have to deal with that final 🤬 turn before the finish.

try braking and downshifting twice right after you cross the bridge. you'll swing pretty wide and just miss the fences. (hopefully)

I actually stay in 4th the whole way across the bridge most of the time, but I did change down the 3rd before the final turn on my fastest run.

It's not the inside that catches me out though, it's taking the corner too hot and wiping out on the outside of the turn that's the problem. I tend to get overly aggressive when it comes to corners.

Again, I didn't get in on this. I'm partially intimidated, and partially busy with other things. :(

Yeah, the competition have upped their game lately, but hey, at least now we know that's it's possible to beat Wilk this time. If I can do it, then so can you.

And I understand that you have other commitments. It'd be great if you could find some time to give it a go though. The more competitors, the better.

First attempt:

1'27.423 - Ford Escort RS

Second Attempt:

1;26.534 - Ford Escort RS

Tricky place, not sure if its faster to approach it as a Road Course or as a Tarmac Rally.

Saw this and decided to give it a go. Let me tell you this is one way to find out how bad I am lol.

95 Subaru Impreza wrx sti. 1:33.779

Will edit if I can go faster.

Where has everyone gone? :(

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I've been kinda busy lately, and I haven't thought about setting a time in the past couple of days. I should be able to soon though.

And I think when someone posts a time, then that triggers everyone else to do so in order to try and beat the other person's time. If that doesn't happen, then no one posts any new fast times.

I'll be playing tonight.

Edit: How are you guys tackling that turn after the first bridge? What about the wide corner after that? And that hairpin after the following chicane?

I've got 1:23.466 in the Impreza so far. My pinky has stiffened from playing for almost 2 hours straight.

The fastest I got with the Celica was 1:25.3xx... but it was the first car I took out while the Impreza was the last car I tried before I stopped. Getting consistent results in this game is extremely difficult with the handling being so unpredictable for me.
