I bought a Mercedes-Benz SL 500 '98, and I decided to take a run trough Nürburgring GP Short comparing the laps on dry and wet.

Dry time: 1:52:XXX

Wet time (10% surface water): 1:50:XXX on my first attempt. I noticed that is more difficult to drift, there are more grip, why?:odd:

The gap was exactly 1.8 seconds.

And with 20% was pretty close to the dry time.

I used gamepad, comfort soft and full stock car.

:confused::confused::confused:

Not surprised. A confort compound vs a RACE WET compound on a slippery track (not very wet)...

Not seeing anything strange, it should be faster even on dry as long as it lasts.

Remember we do not even have sport rain tires...

Maybe because tyres are overheating but with the surface water you keep them cool but there isn't enough water on track to start hydroplaning?
