It happened the other day and ended with the kid (who claimed he was 18 but sounded 10 on the mic), swearing, yelling and telling a mate by message that not only did he own a Corvette IRL, but he was also a master hacker who was going to hack the guys PS3.... Nice job kid 👎

They didn't. Both companies now help create sounds for Gran Turismo games. And while we're on the subject of engine sounds, some of the engine sounds in the game sound nothing like it should be at all. Try putting a Semi-Racing exhaust on a NSX Type R '02 and it sounds like a Supra... wtf?!

Why shouldn't it? I doubt there's really enough room to pull it off on a transverse engine (although Mitsubishi managed it with the FTO), but they're both six cylinder engines. Oddly enough, that iconic Supra sound is missing in stock form (in fact, it sounds more like an NSX!)

Now, if it were a longitudinally mounted engine in the NSX, then it's much easier to have equal length secondaries for merging to a single exhaust. (Compare with the older, twin exhaust car.)

I had to google the picture, though I don't know what it is called exactly, but anyway it had some text already in the picture so I had to photoshop the words out and type in my own text.
