Televerket was a Swedish government agency, i.e. a governmental authority acting as a government-owned corporation (public enterprise), responsible for telecommunications in Sweden between 1853-1993. The company continued as a government agency until corporatisation in 1992-1993 when it was renamed Telia, now part of the TeliaSonera corporation.

The "Rikstelefon" brandmark of
Televerket telephones.

The logo was nicknamed "The Crab", using the five-pointed northern star with lightning bolts on either side underneath the Royal Crown.

For years hundreds of Televerket technicians drove orange Volvo 240 company vehicles to customers, and many citizens still drive around in them to this day (minus the logos) even though it's been 20+ years since they were sold off.

The reason for the cars being orange was cited as "traffic safety". The car "needed to be seen in any kind of weather and terrain". :lol:

Even the phone booths were painted orange;

I've seen televerket several times, but mostly when I was young. They didn't use Volvos here though. It was privatised and renamed to telenor sometime in the late 90s. The booths can still be seen here and there, but they are really rare nowadays.

And Mickey is an adult mouse who is responsible for his own actions.

Also gt really lacks northern European (Scandinavian to be specific) track locations. That would be a good thing to use with your televolvos
