Ever Wondered What exhaust would sound the best on your car? Well search no more!
In this thread, I will List What Exhaust sounds Better on every car listed by you.​

Please Add the Car's Year Make, Model and trim level, and then the Exhaust in that order (if possible). (An Example will be given in first post) Once your post gets a +1 or another form of agreement by another member, your post will be added to the list. The list will be found in the OP and be edited everytime a car & exhaust Combo Is agreed apon. Hopefully we can get a large list going, so that we won't need to buy all the exhausts for each car and then spend time sound checking each one..

Please Keep in Mind, we are only after "REALISTIC" car sounds, Just becuase it sounds like a great, If the car shouldn't sound like that, it won't be added

Reason: Much Musclier sound then the Rice burning Titanium Race Exhaust has to offer.

From what I've tried and heard, the semi-racing exhaust is best for all of the classic American muscle cars.

Question: do any of the other mods change the sound? I don't think so, but want to make sure.

Lexus LFA - Stock Exhaust.

Ford GT - anything.

Audi R8 5.2Fsl - Sport Exhaust (sounds a little tougher, and more, Road-Going, then the Honda/F1 mix sounding titanium exhaust)
 
I like the sound of my Ford GT 06 with the racing exhaust. 👍

Its built for a series I am in and we have specs to follow. So the exhaust is the only thing I have installed. Dont know how it will sound once you start to upgrade everything else.

None of the other exhaust mods change the sound, but boy golly do the engine mods! Especially on v8's.

The description of said sound can only be depicted using words that are not family friendly and I can't be posted on a family friendly forum.

It's that good. I take it to cruise/cop rooms and just drive slow in high gear. At night rumbling along waiting for a ricer to come up behind you. Wait for the turn when they are riiiight behind you them downshift and blast off! If you're both racing using only your side of the road and there are cars passing going the other way... It's the scariest/coolest/must fun thing I have EVER done in gt5 (capital period)

Edit: YESSSSSS!!!!!!! IT WORKED!! I'm just super excited about the split quote thingy lol

Try the muscle cars , do like this , take a old muscle car pput the expensier exaust then put on the last gear with car stoped(if you got manual) and throtle
you willl hear a good sound
 
Mitch, you got me on the LFA. That flew right over my head. I +1 the r8 sound.

I dont know that we need to put the 787B because we can't change the Exhaust on it 👎

I think the 787B came with rotary sound as PD record sound from GT4 and same in GT5?

EDIT: I really it's was came with 4 rotary engine sound sorry for mistake.
 
Viper ACR
Does anyone hate the stock exhaust of the ACR? Put the sports exhaust and surprisingly, it will sound like a Viper.

Viper SRT10 Coupe
The sound will get much more raspier with the sports exhaust, but going against anything seen in Gran Turismo, it will keep its characteristic "Viper V10" sound.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec C Type RA
Probably the only Premium Impreza that sounds accurate with the stock exhaust. So... Stock exhaust for the real sound.

BMW M5
Stock. The only exhaust that sounds like a V10.

BMW M3 E92
Stock. It doesn't sound too good, but it's closest to the real thing.

Will contribute as much as I can with this. But I'll have to double check to make sure. Please don't let this thread die! And I hope people who contribute take in mind that it's not how loud or "awesome" a car sounds, but how accurate it does to its real counterpart (or at least close).

Good choice. I understand what you mean by "burble." But I feel that it sounds too artifitial.. PD's fault, but at least they tried. I feel more comfortable with the stock exhaust in this Subaru.

And btw, the 22B has a 2.2L engine, which is big comparing with the rest of the full JDM spec Sti Imprezas which have a more "purist" 2.0L engine0. I was surprised when I heard a full JDM spec Impreza, it sounds nothing like our 2.5 Sti Imprezas. Almost no burble at all except at very low revs.
 
Stock muscle cars in general, GNX is what came to mind in particular, that's one that I actually checked,

also the '07 mustang is pretty close stock to RL, you don't get that rumble at 6000 rpm like most people complain about but you hear it at idle, it's actually comparable, and the funny thing is I have a v6 not a v8
