I do tend to spend quite a few hours on a combo I enjoy, but I really did have some good pace this week for some odd reason :D

I suspect after this result I won't be in D2 for much longer though :lol:
 
How much time guys do you usually spend on TT? I play one day a week (usually on weekends) about 2-3 hours. After this time I get tired and can't improve my results and I stop play TT.
So, I'm interesting, does yours results better, becauce you spend more time on it, or am I just to slow (maybe it's a stupid question :) ).
 
I play about 2-4 hours a week....first a stint at the beginning of the TT, then I play some other games through the week, and then the weekend before deadline a stint or two...also because I cant play GT6 when my wife is at home...she has the talent to ask me a dumb question when I'm in a hot lap.......so I wait for the weekend, then she is working ;)

I had a simillar result to yours, this time. Very much an estimateguess on TT #11, but say I put in 8..9 h, ten tops.

@Gravitron @Killermiller24 My third sector was OK but not that good. I thought I had posted my best splits but forgot it so it seems. Checked my lap again and the splits are:
T1: 26.525
T2: 29.966
T3: 22.775
Was happy with my T2 and was cautious on T3.
Looking forward to tomorrows race.
 
Noob question: How do I check replays? I know the info is someplace, but I'm not finding it. And, I'd like to help out.

Click the icons to the right to download the zip for that driver. Checkmarks mean that someone has already green-flagged it in this thread, [?] means that the replay doesn't require checking and [!] means it's waiting to be checked.

After you download the zip file:
  1. Unzip it to your thumb drive in the \PS3\SAVEDATA folder, ensuring it goes into a folder that ends with "RPLXXX" (with the XXX a number). If it doesn't go into that folder, let one of the "old hands" know because it needs to be in that subfolder (side note - please zip the entire replay folder when submitting and not just the individual replay files; it makes it a lot easier for those of us who check replays). It also is important that the name of that folder not be changed, so if you are prompted to override what is in that folder, do so.
  2. Plug the thumb drive into your PS3 and, using the Saved Data Utility (PS3) feature, copy the replay onto your PS3 (don't worry if the language in the description is different than what you're used to; the replay is compatible with your region's GT6).
  3. Start up GT6, head to the gallery, hit the right d-pad button until you see the "Load Files" option, hit "Open List" under that "Load Files" section, and load the replay into GT6.
  4. Fire up the replay.
 
For all you non-Premium members who may not have seen @Famine's post about the Data Logger:

Playing around with the Data Logger is frickin' awesome.

You can import two replays from any track and overlay the telemetry against each other. There's four tabs (three customisable) which can display up to five pieces of information simultaneously each, including road speed, engine speed, current gear, gap to fastest lap, throttle input, brake input, steering angle, lateral g, longitudinal g, individual corner ride heights and individual corner wheel speeds. You can increase or decrease the scale, there's a track map lines overlayed and current position (the current range of the telemetry is also highlighted) and a g meter.

And you can, inexplicably, customise it so the two laps are in a choice of different colours. This is surprisingly awesome.

This will help improve laptimes like nothing else.

I concur. :cheers: Loading Bart's lap and mine, I can see where he gained that 0.7+ on me, with earlier gas or earlier brake, and generally just a more optimal line. Awesome. 👍

I know this question doesnt belong here, but is it right that there is only the annual premium membership?
 
If you mean me, rarely. I did the GT5 one that finished last week, but normally avoid them in GT6 because SRF is allowed.

Sorry for all the off-topic discussion, I seem to cause/perpetuate it fairly often. :dopey:

I had stopped running the seasonals around mid-Feb as I wasn't a fan of turning on SRF, but the FT-1 seasonal with it forced off got me to put 45min into it last night. 👍 Strange handling car but still, I'll slide anything around Fuji. :)
