That will come in handy, I've got an F1 1988 mod for GTR2, and you wouldn't believe the amount of times I've seen supposed backmarkers mixing it up with the McLarens, Ferraris and Williamses.

Most F1 mods are league edition mods, so all physics sets are the same.

Some downloaded tracks are just unplayable due to the framerate being so bad. Would it be worth it to upgrade my RAM from 1gb to 2gb? Obviously I am on a tight budget - my computer is now about 10 years old. Would increasing RAM make a difference or is it more of a CPU/GPU issue?

Anyone here got the LMRT mod? More so, got it working? Got the basepack. Installed it. Got all skinpacks installed. Only Porsches from 1999-2002 are showing. Everything else has a flickering hand and no spinner showing. @rallymorten

The .HDC file is the physics files for each style of car. Usually if they aren't found it's either that they aren't in the proper folder to correspond with with the correct .CAR files, or the .CAR file has the name of the .HDC file written down wrong. .HDC files are usually suppose to be found with the coresponding car family it represents, "NGT ->Porsche 996 GT3 RS Teams -> all the .HDC files -> Each individual car's .CAR File" within the Teams folder for GameData.

I would check if everything is in the right place, and then start looking at .CAR files to see if the names don't match.

Fuji, Suzuka, Tsukuba and Twin Ring Motegi would be preffered along with others on the Super GT Schedule. AI isn't great on that mod though, at 100% (I race at 90% now so I keep up ) bumpers were flying everywhere.

Yes, the limit is annoying but it all depends on the track file size. I've found mostly I can download 2-3 tracks within the limit, even more at times. How many tracks are you looking to get?

Only GT300 mod I know of is this one which I think is around 2007 as it has the Ferrari 360 and 996 GT3 in it.

Just tried out the Power & Glory mod and I have to say it is, hands down, the BEST mod for GTR2. And the new UI is amazing!

I found an excellent GT300 mod on some really obscure Japanese site...PM me if you want the link. It has some GT300 from 2006 to 2012, including the GT500 cars. Thing is that all the years are mixed together unfortunately.

Yeah it does. Only thing I can suggest is that they add the season(s) the cars and liveries were used.

At long last I have decided to organise my GTR2 my GTR2 directory. Got it set up so that my .plr files, all necessary files and all default tracks go into every new install. I then delete tracks that wouldn't be used in that series. Only sounds I have deleted are: original car sounds, original car files and all .gdb related files (Apart from the settings .ddb file). Have added a new HUD to the game as well and the necessary NO CD .exe and 1.1 US patch so that I can see and use Porsche and Ferrari in game. Currently have FIA GT (Default), FIA GT1 (2010-2011), FIA GT3 (2011-2012) and VLN (2002-2012) in seperate installs. Only install that has multiple mods is the GT3. All mods tested and fully functioning! .

I've been busy doing my own GTR2 things elsewhere. Quite enjoyed how this carset turned out. Although that comes after many hours of messing around with the draft settings in the .GDB, the 2005 Macau AIW, and some settings in the .PLR file. If you want to try it out let me know!

Ok, I'm getting really fed up with GTR2 right now. The only thing that's stopping me from enjoying it is the unmistakable feel of steering assist, which steers when it wants to instead of when I want it to. How do I turn it off?
