Think we may need some clues? At first I thought some obscure late 70s/early 80s Honda, then I looked at some Australian cars like the Fairmont, but no cigar.

Alright. It's a Japanese car that had two extremely similar siblings on the same platform. Only one of the triplets was sold globally. A modern RWD sedan has since succeeded the long-lasting trio and continues to use the same chassis prefix.

I'll take any of the three cars as an answer.
