I'm planning on getting bf4 for the ps4 cause I was a big fan of bf3 but am I too late in getting it? Or should I get battlefield hardline? And can any of you suggest me with any other good games for the ps4? I just have gta 5.

If you're a fan of the military theme of Battlefield, then get the Premium Edition of BF4. It's different to Hardline so there will still be a good number of people playing once Hardline releases.
Hardline has less of an emphasis on vehicular warfare, and the ideal player count on a mal is smaller (32 is ideal compared to Battlefield 4's ideal player count of 64).
