I just noticed that when I am not logged in, in this post:

have links that are ads. I know the "ps3" was not linked to anything by me, and I'm pretty sure that Nic didn't link the "Ferrari F40" to some obscure ad link either, so I'm wondering whether this is a new forum ad mechanism or whether I have some kind of adware. I am leaning towards it being a forum feature because the links disappear when I am logged in.
 
It's a forum feature; you will never see it if you are logged into your account.

Perhaps so, but I don't particularly like the ad and I wouldn't visit the website. I merely flagged it because I didn't think it was the kind of image that GTP normally portrays in its conduct codes or image.

Not for me to say of course... but if the admins don't know about the ad then they might like to... or it might make no difference :D
 
Thanks for the screenshot, @TenEightyOne, that made it easier to track down and block the ad. 👍 It may take a few hours before it is completely removed from the ad network rotation.
