i've been lurking' these replica tune threads and currently stumped with a tune i'm working on... So i have the X2014 and i'm dialing in the LSD settings for high speed tracks like La Sarthe, Apricot Hill, Monza, etc. and right now i'm torn between the TRD Mechanical 2-way High Preload LSD settings and the Nismo 1.5-way High Preload LSD settings. i love the stability of the TRD in the high speed turns and its very managable in the lower speed turns as well but the Nismo feels better at higher speeds than the TRD a little bit but lacks the feeling of stability in lower speed turns, the Nismo just feels a tad too nervous at low speed corner exits yet i feel the TRD could be slighty better in the higher speeds while retaining its low speed stability......are the other LSD's that are similar to the TRD 2-way High Preload LSD?

What's your initial torque ? Run a bit lower initial torque to loosen the car on higher speed corners, you may also need to lower the accel value to reduce low speed oversteer, try reduce by 2 :)

TODA RACING built the demo car for their line up of engine + drivetrain tune up and suspension kit. The car has 2.2 TODA Racing Stoker kit fitted along with complete internal upgrades + high lift camshaft, sports injection, updated ECU, full exhaust system, intake and exhaust manifold. The car estimated to produce roughly 280PS :D The car also fitted with Work Emotion 18 inch wheel - closest match in GT6 is BLITZ BRW Profile 08.

Since detailed power data is hard to find, I have to calculate rough estimate based on a known FD2 Civic with TODA upgrade package without stroker kit, intake and sports injection ( 7 PS increase ) has around 248PS. 280PS IMO is pretty accurate based on information from people that I consulted :)

Tuned and tested at Laguna Seca, Tsukuba and Street of Willow. When tested at Tsukuba the car is capable of 1:06s lap on comfort soft. It has exceptional balance, plenty of torque and power to compete with the usual turbo JDM cars :)

I have no problem with the FF cars. I like the good FF cars.
I drove your Civic, it's very stable and safe but sadly it can't compete in it's class because of the flat floor, which holds it down from a competitive acceleration (same problem for J's S2000). 👍

Thanks, the TODA Racing Civic has no flat floor :) check the PP, it should have 444PP ( it only has BLITZ wheel and oil change ). I will publish the 450PP in a few hours, it will have less weight, slightly less power but a second faster then the replica 444PP at Tsukuba ( easy 1:05s on comfort soft )

I research quite hard to make this replica built, based on Tommy Kaira M30 HR31 GTS-R, R31 House Tuning Company made some improvement on the car, with single turbo low mount setup, the ever famous exhaust manifold and exhaust system, running low boost, the car has 260PS. The suspension of choice by R31 House, JIC Magic "Gold", now considered very rare as it has been discontinued. LSD is from Cusco Type RS with optimized locking rate ( cam angle and number of plates ) aimed at track day and daily driving.

This replica works well on comfort soft, with nice balance and lots of potential, for track day sports medium is the ideal tire ( R comp semi slick equivalent ). I have corrected the weight distribution based on real life data on HR31 coupe and kerb weight from official Nissan data.

When tested at Tsukuba, the car managed easy 1:09s, also tested at Street of Willow and Fuji Speedway GT.

There will be another R31 HOUSE M30 replica posted soon ( a different customer car ) with even more comprehensive build - HKS twin turbo low mount, RB26 bottom end, stroked to 3.1, stiffer JIC spring set, still running low boost for durability/daily driving, pushing 400PS with potential for 500+PS :eek:

UPDATE : Added primary suspension setup with revised damper and R31 Street alignment, the older setup marked as alternate. Corrected ballast position to reflect the weight distribution. Traction issue on lower gear should be minimized.

i've tried out the Kei Office Drift Bible S14 out and so far i really like it, i'm still getting used to drifting with the g27 overall and in gt6 but even with the lack of drifting skills its still pretty easy to drift and control. i'll do some more driving and drifting with it then i'll write up a proper review. kudos to Ridox2JZGTE, good job bro.

oh, and i haven't tried lowering the torque and accel settings on that TRD 2-way setup for the X2014 yet but whenever i do an event that pays 500k i'll refresh my chassis and lower those settings, by 2 levels on each right?

If you like the S14, maybe you'll like the S13 Bee Racing, the replica is for sports medium, but you can always fit comfort tires for drifting on it, not sure if it's great for drifting, but worth a try :lol:

Made this simple base tune upon request from a fellow member, the car is tuned for a Championship races with power and PP limitation ( 380HP/526PP ) and no tire restriction ( RS ). Track for the base tune is for Spa Francorchamps :)

In order to hit both limit, I used power upgrades to maximize available torque, then use limiter to get 380HP and 526PP. The track in mind, requires ample acceleration from low to mid speed and good top speed. Gearing has been tweaked for both drafting and maintaining high speed on the long up hill straight.

The Megane still has stock aero, as I felt the rear aero is enough to allow full throttle on Eau Rouge ( no lift ) even on Racing Hard. Any gain in top speed is important for such track.

The tune can used on other tracks, simply alter final drive ratio to suit the track. Please avoid kerb/rumble strip, they are nasty and very likely to roll over the car :)


When tested/tuned at Spa, it easily managed 2:18s on RS tire. The car has great balance, and finding the limit is fun.

I built the spec Miata replica long ago, it's still work in progress with some settings/specs still need to be work on. This replica is fine tuned to fit the rules for tuning challenge.
The car uses Spec Miata suspension setup as close as possible to real life, the balance is good with stable rear end and pretty agile front. Care need to be taken when exiting corners, the rear can wiggle a bit, but it should pose no problem :)

I tested the car at Streets of Willow together with a friend, the car can do 1:27s lap with ease, a good run would see sub 40s 2nd sector ( at fish bowl ). Tune is sill not final :) Fit Sports Medium to get close to real life Hoosier Spec Miata R6 DOT racing tire.

UPDATE 1.05 : New Damper setup aimed at neutral balance with a little loose flavor on exit. Ride height is level now as previously was set as replica giving low front, high rear - tendency to understeer.
ARB has been adjusted to complement new damper, giving more responsive feedback.
Camber set at 0.2 all around as I like the number and the feel of it :lol:
Toe out at the front increased slightly for better steering response, and rear at neutral for better directional changes mid corner.
Brake balance set at 2 click higher at the rear to reduce the push under heavy braking.
LSD has been revised with low preload and lower locking during braking and coasting.

The Toyota TOM's ADVOX Supra RZ was featured in Best Motoring, fitted with street tires and only have ADVOX coilover installed, the car was a demo for the newly released ADVOX suspension kit. The car with 327PS managed 1:08.61 lap time.

The GT6 replica is tuned to replicate the lap time, fitted with comfort medium and 322HP / 327PS. The weight distribution has also been fixed at 53/47. Suspension is based on retail ADVOX Height Adjustable Coilover Suspension with medium spring rate package selected, TOM's roll bar and the ADVOX specific wheel alignment setup also included ( camber and toe ). When tested, the car managed 1:08s with ease.

The TOM's ADVOX replica should work on sports tire as well and power up to 400+PS.

Love this thread. Replica tunes, comfort tires, revisions for updates. I just gave the above tune a spin for a Tsukuba time trial. Easily sub 1:08" on comfort mediums. Impressive AND fun. 👍👍

Made this simple base tune upon request from a fellow member, the car is tuned for a Championship races with power and PP limitation ( 380HP/526PP ) and no tire restriction ( RS ). Track for the base tune is for Spa Francorchamps :)

In order to hit both limit, I used power upgrades to maximize available torque, then use limiter to get 380HP and 526PP. The track in mind, requires ample acceleration from low to mid speed and good top speed. Gearing has been tweaked for both drafting and maintaining high speed on the long up hill straight.

The Megane still has stock aero, as I felt the rear aero is enough to allow full throttle on Eau Rouge ( no lift ) even on Racing Hard. Any gain in top speed is important for such track.

The tune can used on other tracks, simply alter final drive ratio to suit the track. Please avoid kerb/rumble strip, they are nasty and very likely to roll over the car :)


When tested/tuned at Spa, it easily managed 2:18s on RS tire. The car has great balance, and finding the limit is fun.

Exquisite balance in this tune. Tested with Racing Hards at Spa against AI as part of IA World Circuit Tours. The tranny might need a little more room against cars that outpower this Megane, but it seemed well suited to this track/event. Highlight: utterly throwing this set-up into corners with the confidence that it's composure will be maintained. Outstanding balance! Handles like a magic frog.
 
Thanks @Golyadkin , glad the Supra and Megane drove well :) For the Megane, you can increase 6th gear value to make it shorter/easier to reach top speed.

Hosaka Tuning Factory built the car to showcase their tuning prowess and the car was featured in Hot Version video, driven by Dori Dori :) The car was fitted with more front torque split and still with harder compound semi slick ( YH Advan A048 ). The goal was to post sub 1 minute lap at Tsukuba with minimal cost ( no reinforcement or light weight parts ). This R33 uses upgraded turbine that focuses on low to mid rpm response to aid acceleration with limited power and stock weight ( 550PS - 1540kg ) The car managed to do the sub 1 minute lap at Tsukuba with S tire ( R compound street legal semi slick ) -sports medium in GT6.

Now, this replica has adapted suspension from PCR Hosaka Tuning Factory (HTF) Custom Coil Over, as in GT6 higher spring rate as fitted on real one is not possible :) LSD as usual from HTF : NISMO GT LSD both front and back. Simple tune with not too much power, but very rapid on technical track and exceptional handling.

Aim to have 59s ( sub 1 minute ) lap time at Tsukuba with above tune, enjoy :cheers:
Yo Ridox! I found out that, the Hosaka R33 gear ratios are OS Giken gear set (possibly 1-5 or 1-3 set?). I think Final Drive is stock.

Tried out the Gear Ratios out on rFactor (R33 Mod). Tested on Ebisu East. Was reaching up to 4th gear earlier when I was going up the hill, with stock; I was still in third.

Hosaka usually uses OS Giken set for their R33s.

Have you watched the Hot Version video ? Dori Dori and Akira Iida was in 3rd gear when they were going up hill before start/finish line and shifted to 4th when about going level and then down to the start/finish line. Will have to check the video again and compare speed + gear position.

Yeah, I watched it many times. I shifted around there. The RPM Drop During Upshifts were quite similar.

Can you tell me the OS Giken gearset changes at what speed on 1st to 3rd ? The Hosaka R33 in Hot Version has NISMO 320kmh speedometer, but it's not very clear at what speed they shifted from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th :)

TODA RACING built the demo car for their line up of engine + drivetrain tune up and suspension kit. The car has 2.2 TODA Racing Stoker kit fitted along with complete internal upgrades + high lift camshaft, sports injection, updated ECU, full exhaust system, intake and exhaust manifold. The car estimated to produce roughly 280PS :D The car also fitted with Work Emotion 18 inch wheel - closest match in GT6 is BLITZ BRW Profile 08.

Since detailed power data is hard to find, I have to calculate rough estimate based on a known FD2 Civic with TODA upgrade package without stroker kit, intake and sports injection ( 7 PS increase ) has around 248PS. 280PS IMO is pretty accurate based on information from people that I consulted :)

Tuned and tested at Laguna Seca, Tsukuba and Street of Willow. When tested at Tsukuba the car is capable of 1:06s lap on comfort soft. It has exceptional balance, plenty of torque and power to compete with the usual turbo JDM cars :)
