This is a bit of an experiment and it may be done before, but I don't know.
I made a spreadsheet on Google Drive which anyone with the link can edit (no Google account required,I think). The goal is to put your laptimes on there and compete and whatever!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtTNu5Zn_B2idFFEcU1DdVJJZWFFYlRQZ3pmQzZFWXc&usp=sharing
Ultimate goal: have one laptime for every car on atleast one track! (never gonna happen, but I can dream)

ALL CARS NEED TO BE STOCK!

This is how it looks:

Follow that template, basically. One column per user:

If you want to add a new track, make a new sheet:

Click on the plus and be sure to name the sheet accordingly. Then click the number ''1'' on another sheet, press Control+C,and paste it in the new sheet. Then click the number ''1'' on your new sheet, and go to view->freeze rows->freeze 1 row.

I'm not completely sure if this works,so I apologize if it doesn't.

I'd love to do this.. I do it for my own laps and would happily send you my spreadsheet to get you started.

Also there should be a column to designate (wheel and if so what kind) vs ds3.

As on average, using my T8 and T500 is much faster than a ds3

You can put (DS3) or (WHEEL) behind your laptimes if you want to :P

If you want to you can send me your spreadsheet and i'll put 'em in for you

Interested in this too
I have a couple of tracks i use for testing and would post stock times as a starting reference point

What about SRF etc - I don't use, but others might? an extra column for this too? - I'll add it on my track tabs :)

🤬,how did I not think of this. For now, just click on your laptime and insert a comment. I'm open for better ideas:(

Editerino: I saw your thing on Apricot Hill, and i'm not sure how it works.

Where do laptimes go? :P Besides, you'll have to add a seperate car row for every user and that's a bit...messy.

Hi, i´ve read your post about your hotlap-spreadsheet with google-docs. Some weeks ago, i´ve created a similar spreadsheet, also with google docs, and a webpage for GT6 Hotlapping.

http://gt6hot.de.to/ or http://granturismo6-hotlap-datenbank.npage.de/

i´ve created a form, where you just pick the car/track, enter your laptime etc. and the spreadsheet is filled automatically.
lots of cars and tracks are still missing, but will be added soon.

would be happy to see some guys submitting their laptimes there :)

site is in german/english, but i think this should be no problem.

Update: added all missing cars and tracks to the dropdown-menu in the form :)

Hey :)

i added some new features to http://gt6hot.de.to/

  • it´s now possible to send your Hotlpap-Replay files,
  • download Replay files,
  • play different GT6-Rank-contests,
  • and made some minor changes.
Very nice! I'll probably be adding a few laps to this list later :)

Edit: Here is the list of cars you are missing :)

I actually started an Excel spreadsheet with lap times for every car I had taken around the 'Ring for both GT5 & GT6. I wanted to upload it for reference and comparison purposes. Thought it'd be interesting to compare to other people's times, as well as viewing the differences between certain cars, but I never completed it. I'm going to try again with a different track, as the 'Ring is too long and complicated to get an accurate time for each car. It becomes extremely time consuming trying to attempt it. Lol. Suzuka has the Suzuka circuit locked down, so I'm contemplating what track I'd like to use next. I'm thinking either Spa, Ascari, The Matterhorn, or Mt. Panorama. Any suggestions? Would anyone even be interested?
