trying to get the hang of drifting and taking pics, how do you get them sooooo clear, probably more sliding than drifting at the minute, lol

Question:

Is it possible to save the replay online when you're just free running, or do you need to setup a race and "finnish" that to get the replay saved?

Great pics around here by the way!👍

I'm a camera newbie. Here are some pics I didn't really try to get just right:

I did some drifting, and thought that pics with smoke might look interesting.

Can somebody give a quick explanation on the camera settings in photomode? I remember GT4 explained it well, and you could see the differences as you made the adjustments. Not so in GT5.

I remember you set a focus point. Then there's an option that changes how far away from the focus point everything stays in focus. Is that the F-number? Then there's a setting that changes how fast something has to be moving to blur in the picture. Is that shutter speed? Will "focal length" affect a picture in any way other than changing the "zoom"? What is "composition"?

You can only save the replay after a race in online mode. We tried doing it with free running but we can't. After the race you have to go to race results, right there they have the box and go to that to save the replay. Then you can go to your replay theater and begin snapping your pictures. 👍

You have the F-stop? and the shutter speed correct. Not sure about composition. When you are in the main picture taking part, press triangle and change the "Panning Mode" to "3". That will help keep the car more in focus when it is moving. 👍

A lot of nice shots here guys. But, some of you need to slow down the shutter a bit. It just looks like your car is sitting there and on fire. lol. No sense of motion in the photo.

Mine were taken before I knew about the panning mode feature. I'm gonna take some more tonight. :D
