Watched more Arrow. Specifically, the season 1 finale and the season 2 premiere.
I am so very much hooked on this TV Show. Sadly I am hanging out for the mid season break to end. It is eating at me big time. Last TV show I felt this way about was 'Chuck' In my opinion Season 2 is pretty epic, but this is coming from someone who has never picked up a real comic in his life. And Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is gorgeous! haha

Yeah, I've been enjoying the show. I still have to watch Season 2 and whatever of Season 3 has aired. Also, there are a few episodes of The Flash we have to watch since we started watching Arrow.

I actually enjoy The Flash too. Arrow more though as to me it is a lot more realistic. Just a little teaser though, if you didn't already know. A character (I won't say who) played the role of the flash in the original series/last series

That's kind of the reason why they went out of their way to make all super powered people come from a single event in The Flash. They were bringing on a superhero ability instead of just a skilled guy with lots of toys. The world of Central City looks vastly different because a place where a citywide disaster created metahumans will look vastly different. Starling City was a place plagued by corruption and crime. Central City was a nice place to live until things went boom. It underwent a vast transformation that is not easily seen on the surface, but permeates the lives of everyone who lives there. On some subconscious level people know something is off and their entire lives reflect that.

Both stars of that series have parts in this one.

Mr FoolKiller, I have never thought of it like that. It makes a lot of sense and also in one paragraph adds insight and intrigue into the two shows collaborating and how that all works. Regardless, I am happy these shows exist.

Watched another episode of Arrow. Also, I rewatched the first Equestria Girls. I'll rewatch Rainbow Rocks later.

I've been watching the first season of The Mind of a Chef (featuring David Chang) on Netflix recently. It's neat stuff, and all the information and facts about food from around the world has been very interesting. Also seeing how Chang and fellow chefs are using their creativity to come up with new dishes as well as adapting old dishes in new and interesting ways has been awesome.

The food porn definitely makes me happy.

I've started watching House of Cards, but I have to admit that I really struggled with it as large parts of it rely on the US political system. But then I realised that at its heart, it's essentially an adaptation of King Richard III, and my understanding improved dramatically.

Interesting point, I've never thought of the show that way. Thanks for pointing that out.

Just saw Season 5 of Castle and Season 1 of The Blacklist. I am hooked on them both! I so want to see more!

I just finished all of Californication. Pretty good show, but went downhill after Season 4.

Unstoppable

Runaway train threatens to unleash chemical armageddon. Plucky heroes must stop it by doing something stupid.

Half the film is exposition, with the script attempting to replicate the twenty-four hour news cycle as uninformed commentators struggle through live broadcasts. Half again is various characters watching live broadcasts and willing the main characters on. The rest alternates between people shouting at things and Denzel Washington "acting", which is to say he repeats his lines; he repeats his lines all the time.

When they finally stop the unstoppable train (what?), the film acts like it's a big surprise that they averted a disaster even though it's based on a true story and the disaster never happened.

Watched the finale of Alaska Off Road Warriors last night.

It was an ok show, except for the added drama and the d-bags in the Land Rover.

Watching Dear Zachary. Now if there is an emotionally striking documentary, this is it. Never having heard about the case it's based on before, it's certainly a strong experience.

Season 2, episodes 8 and 9 of Arrow. After getting into The Flash, I'm glad I started watching Arrow. Don't want to spoil too much, but those two episodes in particular lead into The Flash quite nicely.

The Classic Car Show on Ch5 in the UK.

Quentin Wilson and Jodie Kidd presenting a new series celebrating classic cars.

Kidd's presenting skills need some polishing but I'll watch anything to do with motors and looking at 6ft 2in of blonde, pussy galore-esque Kidd isn't bad either.

Ep1 - The Ford Mustang's 50th birthday feature and Kidd drives a Ferrari California.

Community is fantastic. The fourth season is what another show would be if it was trying too hard to be Community. NBC, Sony, and Dan Harmon had some kind of contractual issues and Harmon was not available for the fourth season. However, the fourth season still has its moments.
