Those quick match low level events are just full of kids thinking they are smart, cars arrowing over short cuts at full speed, full speed ramming at hairpin, thanks PD for that ghosting, Motegi was bad with so many slow corners. Blue triangles all over the yard in the map view. Ugh. After they got bored and left had a couple good races with two others. Expert level much cleaner racing, because of penalties?, but guys give up and drop out with one mistake, go from 6 entrants to 3 or 4 finishers, c'mon guys play until the whistle blows.

Decided to go back on GT6 to race again (Many reasons why I haven't been as much) and joined a Cote D'Azur room.
I saw the car list
Host starts the race, first corner they all smash into each other, so I'm leading. 7 seconds ahead
5... 3... 1.3... 97T is behind me and tries to overtake in Grand Casino, smacks in the wall, gets annoyed, starts spouting prepubescent crap over the headset, basically that I'm a cheat, scoundrel and I have a twirly moustache which I fondle the end of as I disappear into the night
I'm then kicked.

I'll say one story, in chronological order.
1. Shows up in a Zahara lobby
2. Drives around in a Cappuccino (Non race-car) for good time's sake
3. A guy randomly shows up in a really loud Civic, and boasts it on the chat..
4. Civic driver hits my Cappuccino and sends me spinning through the pits.
5. I leave, only to return with a 650HP Charger SRT8.
6. Civic Rams my Charger, and fails, only to say swear words at the chat aimed at me.
7. Host leaves and I become the new host.
8. Kicks Civic driver out, resumes gameplay.
9. Fast-forward to a few minutes later, I grab my Civic and drive it around Sierra, and compare the time to my Charger, in which the Charger is seconds faster than my personal, fully-tuned Civic.
10. Concludes that theit Civic is definitely hacked, reports PSN ID.

Gave a mate who races offline with me his first go at online QM Toscana. G25 with 900deg no TC and manual, he gets a second then a few tail end as the talent increased. Got a msg, from the rabbit of the field that he needed to learn how to make it roll faster. Some might b fast but no humility.

I hate when I get in a room with twelve or more people, jump in and have a really good and fun race, thus renewing my faith in GT online, then as soon as the race is over the host happens to leave and everyone follows leaving me in the room alone. This happened to me twice the other day. T-T Bunch of sheep... Really fast sheep.

I joined a race lobby the other day at Zahara, and there were about eight people in there - not including me. So a guy says that Lamborghini's aren't meant to be track cars, and I say that I agree his statement. I was driving a highly tuned Impreza, and the other guys, including the guy I agreed with, said that I was a JDM ___ and that any Ferrari or Lamborghini could beat any JDM in any circumstancs.
I procede to provide factual evidence that JDM cars are more suited for smaller tracks and not tracks with long straights. Instead of not listening, they continued to think that JDM cars suck compared to their Ferraris' and such. Later on, I asked them that if they could beat my Impreza's time of 8:33.000 on Zahara. They said that Zahara was too hard of a track for them. Surprise, surprise.
Then they switched the track to Laguna Seca, which my Impreza couldn't hold a candle to what they had used there. I asked them if they could switch it to something more technical, but no luck. I figured out that the guys that were bashing me this whole time had SRF, ASM, ABS, and the Driving Line on. I don't ever use driving aids. I then ask them to turn it off their driving aids so it could be more fair. They laughed, and dared to tell me that my driving sucked because I was two seconds off their times. They used cars with over 1,000 HP with driving aids; and I used a 550 HP Impreza with no aids. Seems fair, right? Oh yeah, especially on a track composed of straightaways.
Later on, we go to Eiger. I beat them in the corners easily, but I lost my ground entirely on the uphill straightaway. I only touched the grass twice the whole time on the track. Everyone else crashed every few corners. Then they STILL tell me that I suck at driving and my cars are slow as hell. Yeah well, I don't like powerful cars.
Finally, we got to the Nurburgring. I used my beloved 600 PP R32 with 632 HP. They used ZR-1s, Zondas, and Vipers with 1,000 + HP each. They said that I, again, sucked and couldn't drive. A race starts for the first time, and I am glad that I could prove to them how good I am. I get a faster start, and widen the gap on all the corners at the start with little effort. Now get this, once I got on the first curved straightaway, the host backs out of the race. He was behind me after I passed him in the beginning. Anyway, he says "I got it! I can fix the problem, guys!"

Just got kicked from a any car drift points comp because I beat the host in my boredom built 2j. Was rather satisfying though.

Worst I've dealt with online as of today:
PD's servers and PD's game.
I have no idea what's going on. GT6 makes my PS3 freeze, or hard reset. And no I am not going to delete the game data and re update. I've done that four times already. My PS3 only freezes with GT, be it offline or online. Nothing else. It can handle GTA, BF3, Uncharted 2. It can't deal with GT's framework apparently.
Which means my entertainment from now on, will come solely from this thread.

I had the very same issue with GT5. It was bad enough to the point where I had to sell everything but 25 cars and it still would crash every time I went to the Main Menu. I did the delete and reinstall three times but got nowhere, so I gave up.

So today tried the new kei car quick match, this was a fun event well done PD. However we still have the issues with this.
The above points where the main issue, in the 6-7 races I did, for one of the races, I was in 2nd on the last lap some German guy/girl, pit manoeuvred me on the last bend making me finish last. This was because he decided to cut the bend and hit me at full speed.
- Being pit manoeuvred when holding the racing line through corners.
- People not breaking for tight corners and hitting you.
- People cutting corners, ("this was a big one for me today") as the track is stow everyone was cutting the track gaining 0.5's / 1.0's per lap with no repercussions. I go over one white line and get a 3's time penalty.

Number 3 is common in low speed racing.
I ran a little Midget series with my friends a while ago and normally they're competent drivers (I've raced them in X car championships and never had any problems) but I guess the slowness means people have to find advantages everywhere legal.
And yes, the penalty system is messed up. Basically

It was a joke last night. I get it here and there, but in left two rooms because of it. Went to one more and some moron with a focus st in a 500pp room (surprise surprise lol) was clearly mad he was losing inna car that should damn near always win. Solution = smoke Yad.
The first room was the worst. Had a driver that was relatively keeping up with me at suzuka in the 97T. We get to the last chicane where senna famously took out prost. Dude did the SAME exact thing. I gave him room on the inside...was waiting for him to turn in so I could as well, being that it was a chicane...never turned right lol. Just cut to the left and sent me sailing. I sat there jaw dropped for a second lol. In was the host and it wouldn't let me kick him.
I was running train on a room that was all Brazilian and Portuguese. They let me race until I out 20 seconds on them at Zahara. Kicked me 6 minutes into the lap and I was far ahead...not like there was anyone to hit. I could hear a lot of banter and then the host quit out of the race...then I got kicked out. That sort of stuff doesn't bother me. It's kind of flattering ROFL.

You probably weren't intentionally doing this, (car is very wide) but every time I caught up to you sort of blocked me. Eventually I decided to go for the overtake up the inside at the harpin, and yes, I did brake pretty late. But when you got the better exit you grazed my left side pod. After the Spoon Curve I caught right back up to you again, and we were heading wheel to wheel down the straightaway. After 130R I knew I had the advantage for the chicane. Then the pressure caused my hands to twitch at the wheel, smacking into you and causing you to spin off into the grass. Yes, it was a mistake, and for that, I AM SORRY. But was it really necessary for you to promptly ragequit and assault the chat box with colorful insults such as: "Ryan that was the dirtiest move I could possibly think of what the 🤬" "🤬 you Ryan" "No wonder you don't race in the series anymore" "You :censored:head"
So what do you hate me now for life or something???
When people lose their minds over a video game it really depresses me. It makes me lose faith in humanity, that humans won't always be complete yadeegsons. Let this be an example for those who don't want to race with people like this.
PS: I am not bragging or anything, but a few weeks ago online at Suzuka with the same car and the same settings I was getting times in the 1:29's, and got a 1:29.3. So no, I'm not half a second off the pace, you're almost two seconds off the pace.

You didn't brake late. We were double wide, went to turn the first right of a chicane and you turn left to knock me off the track. It couldn't have been more obvious. You didn't brake late...we were right next to each other lol. Complete like yadeegson(me)?

I was just in a cruise room & I hopped into my 1959 Corvette to cruise and as the host drives past me he tells me to change car or kick. I said this car has an awesome sound not any other car has in the game when I used its semi racing exhaust. The host then said no race cars. I said it is not a race car. It has a nice interior with fancy seats. Then I heard nothing. I was not even racing I was cruising & going slow. I then said you are focused on what people are driving than bad drivers behaviour because this room was full of bad drivers. The host then said do I want to be cop. I then said after being threatened I doubt it. Then host then said "stfu" & I then said fair enough & that was the last thing I said. Then about 10 seconds later I get disconnected from the room due to a lag spike. I glad I did because there was hardly any cruisers in there.

One time I was online in one of those drag, tune rooms and there was this one guy in the X1. You know, that ONE GUY. He was bragging about how good his car was and being an @$$hole in general. Ramming other cars, things like that. So, I went out in my fully tuned pickup truck to try to get rid of him. So I waited for him to come around, and I rammed him and he flipped off of the track. He swears in the mic and leaves the room. I can't believe how wimpy the @$$holes online were...

Have a serious irritation at the minute, it's been there for a whole but more so now. The people who tell you to race their way or you're doing it wrong.
Example, I decided to do a race in a Mini Cooper (old supercharged version.) and was on the grid with a guy who shouted profanity from a person of a higher age than him at me.
He was driving a "Expertally tuned 86" (That's his spelling not mine.) and said something along the lines of "You aren't going to win."
To which I replied that was because someone was in an LMP car, with another in a HSV010. He called me a noob... He may have missed an o. Not sure. And said well settle this on the track.
He smashed into the wall at Panorama after he tried to pass a guy in a Lotus Evora, who was way faster than him... He then quit the race and called me a cheat.
Then left.
Then sent me a friend request asking if I'll give him my MINI's setup.
