I don't think I would trust Vorizon.

I'm still on 56k dial up (yeah right, more like 12-28k).

The ONLY provider I can find in my area is Comcast Cable; it's like a monopoly I tell you. I can get a good package, that should be sufficient for no-lag online game play (hopefully) and really speed up my internet connection for $55 a month (no cable). That's $45 more than my dial up, but I think I will get it in the next couple of months.

I hate sites with to much graphics :grumpy: . Thanks Jordan for not allowing picture signatures, it's a God savior 👍

i have adsl with for 40 dollers for 1 gb of upload and download data. IT SUX! i can only play a couple of hours online with my ps2 and cant download very much vids for gt.

3 Mbps cable from Comcast.

It pwns.

I just ran the test here at work and I got this 1.1 megabits per second. Not sure if thats good or not.
Edit: Now I just ran it again on a different test and it sais 151.3 kbps. :odd:
I will have to try my connection at home to see how it is.

At work we're paying for a 6mbit DSL connection, which we rarely get full speed on, and a 5mbit cable connection, which we always get full speed on (except yesterday and today ...)

Right now I'm getting about 3.2mbit. Not bad. Downloads the pr0n like mad fast ... I didn't say that.

512/128 DSL @ home.

I don't know what kind of connection my college has, but if I get there before 9 am I can get some super fast download speeds. I remember downloading OpenOffice (~60Mb) in less than 2 minutes.

:D I have you beat CamaroBoy.

Thats a 200mb/s connection :D.

Oh, not to mention thats over a Wireless-B connection.

Thats my wired connection, twice as fast as my wireless connection .

Yeah I am going to have to say that I think those things arent too accurate some times. Tried them several different times and always get strange ratings.

Well .. I am running on an OC48 connection. My actual connection speed is around 150 - 200mb/s though.
