So that's how you got such a good speed. What I was talking about in Tokyo though was for personal use at the equivalent of about £30 a month.

Our 8/1M ASDL connection at its finest, but it has been very unstable and prone to frequent cut-offs and random slowdowns (I bet the modem is rubbish).
I kinda wish the upload speed was a tad faster but I'm okay with it as long as it stays in the 0.5-0.6Mb/s.

What's really fantastically excellent is that Sky put fibre cables down in the main road, but in none of the roads leading off it (you know, where ALL THE HOUSES ARE.) That means there's fibre cables about 20 ft from my house that I can't access.

It's such an improvement over my previous connection that I'm actually annoyed when files, regardless of size, don't download in less than 3 minutes.

FiOS's fiber optics are OP. I use to have Comcast and my god, was it slow compared to FiOS.
