Other racing games like GRID and FORZA are becoming more exciting than GT because they're realistic. If GT wants to keep up the standard, then they're going to have to make some big improvements on the realistic parts about the penalties and other things like wheelspin off the line in powerful cars and noises from different types of engines.

I just wish in the mean time they'd put the Nurburgring into GT5 prologue. At least that way you could driver the best track, which is interesting all by itself. Prologue is a small game, but if they put in the 'ring, I'd start driving it again.

I could care less about damage, I just want a solid game with beatiful graphics, great physics, and alot of cars and tracks. In previous GT titles alot of the reasons for delays was the fact that they kept adding...and adding content. One thing that is possible now that was never possible before is a slightly earlier release followed by slew of downloadable content (which of course may not be fair to some ps3 owners who don't have a broadband connection...I think dial up still exist, but I'm not sure hehe). I personally would prefer a finished product followed by some downloadable track packs and car packs at a later date.

I think early 2010 or late 2009. Screw damage, although Im looking forward to it so online play is not a hassle (people dont take it seriously without damage), its about the engine sounds and REALISTIC performance upgrades. I really want a e46 i6 m3 with that nice sound, and I want it to be able to distinguish a v8 from a v6 or rotary engine instead of those boring engine sounds that they put in gt4, I mean if you put an exhaust system, there should be a huge difference in sound, if you put a supercharger there should be some whine or something. I just think that engine sounds play a HUGE role in determining how a racing game plays, in the prologue they did a good job. If you just want crashes then this game is not for you.
