Make more X1 events ( am not a X1 noob ) just a X1 king ;D rank 591 after 2 weeks of people trying to beat it :P

  2. nealcropper

the update an dlc are great! Can’t wait or em! In the next one we need a timer for how far in front the next position is, dnt think that’s in the game yet

  3. flip55

Some say he built kart space from the ground up single handed, and that he is terrified by the color orange. That’s a great pic!

The High Speed Ring one took me ages to get gold as I was using the RX-7 drift car. I changed to a stock standard Corvette ZR-1 and gold was achieved in 3 attempts. All the other drift and time trial events were dead easy (which was nice). With the 200% increase due to 5 consecutive days logging in online, that made it a cool 1 million credits per event for gold. I like it. Thanks PD. Now for the new DLC….

Anyone else found that something happened to the handling on the N24 GTR? When we first got the car it was beautiful, carving up corners for fun powering through the straights… but for some reason on this Time Trial its an understeering mess of a car… whats happened :S

you paid for DLC, stop whining. Back in my day with NES and Genesis, we didn’t HAVE DLC, and IMO we were better off without it. Nowadays a game that should have come complete from the start costs an extra $20+ turning a full-priced game into an EASY $80.

    1. TokoTurismo

Totally agree. If I catch “I’m disappointed” comment one more time, just ONE MORE TIME. I’m gonna start my “sourpuss like” comment again and it’ll be very worse this time. Don’t think I won’t do it…

  6. RazorsEdge

I made a mistake buying the DLC, because seems that I didn’t get anyting special or exclusive from it. This is like buying a map pack for a war game, but you could play it free on other servers. Very, very disapointted… I think I want my 12 € back.

    1. RocketJohn

I see your point… that big 2.0 download included the DLC for everyone… and just unlocked it for us to basically practice or start a lobby on… no wonder they can’t afford to build new tracks, most people are not buying DLC b/c they do not have to…

    2. GT5_Honda_Guy

dumb, just dumb. They can play for a two week window and you are crying like a new born! I paid for the DLC and have no problem with everyone playing it. I can play when ever I want and they have to wait. But you bought it as a way of showing status somehow? Like it makes you better?

If you want exclusivity, try something outside of gaming.

    3. MyFavoriteGame

“If you want exclusivity, try something outside of gaming.”…hey dumba$$, ever heard of Gran Turismo 5?….I wouldn’t have bought a PS3 if it wasn’t exclusive.

I don’t think its fair to the ppl who bought the DLC, I wont go as far as saying i want my money back, but what incentive is there to purchase future track DLC?

  7. Tvensky

Jordan, you should tell us for how long Seasonal events will be avalibe, I would appreciate that! thanks! (I have alot of work and would want to know how much time I have left to compete)

    1. Jordan

As GT5 X1 noted, the start/end dates are included in the post above. Most Seasonal Events do not have a published expiration date.

  8. Radracing

Gives others to try the track before they buy. Don’t be so selfish just because you paid for it. You get to keep what you bought and they only get to try it in the seasonal events. Didn’t your parents ever teach you how to share your toys? Lol!

    1. OldF@rt

Exactly! Essentially those who haven’t bought the DLC only get a demo of the DLC tracks under limited conditions – those of use who have paid own it. It should lead to increased DLC sales. Smart thinking on PD’s part.

  9. SCUD77

Nice one PD, apparently people who didnt pay for the dlc tracks can play them online & now in seasonals! please explain what I gained through paid for the tracks. Nevermind I wont be making that mistake again.
    Good event though

-You supported the cause for new (dlc, or free) tracks in gt5 future.
-You can practice on dlc tracks in any car anytime.
-You can open a lobby with your own control, using the dlc tracks.
-You show to PD that gt5 players still want to continue to see new things in gt5.
-You show to PD that you want more Gran Turismo content and games.
-You enhance PD’s pockets so that they can feel free to splurge on workers, licenses, world travel, car hires, technology, research, etc.
      -etc

    2. R.S

I believe PD did well in not segregating the online community, by them allowing people that haven’t bought the location to also join a room and play when the room owner has the track bought.

    3. Blindstealer

      I don’t have DLC but i think they’ve made a mistake.
A nice thing would have been to make an additional Seasonal only for DLCers, so to not piss DLCers and not DLCers (who at this point expect new seasonal every two weeks)

  10. MyFavoriteGame

You got another one Jables72!! what is that, like 8?…keep up the good work dude!!…just made me an east 2 mil creds :D

    1. jables72

thank you i hope i can keep going but i doubt it i cant afford to pay $50 bucks a month for internet anymore and i will lose my connection soon:(

  11. m8h3r

I hope you don’t have to of bought the DLC to run it, if you do then it looks like im getting a 3 million bonus later instead of the usual 4 million cash injection.

  12. saikolemon

Question, how do you turn off traction control for karts? It handles like traction control is turned off, but my record says its on.

  13. Nish_280z

I notice it is on Kart Space. I think Spa will be a seasonal soon. Hopefully that will stop some moaning about it.

    1. DUC748inMD

I bought the DLC and have no problem with PD allowing access to these bonus tracks during seasonal events. Consider it a demo of sorts for those on the fence to reconsider purchasing it.

    2. Chad D.

@Blindstealer Did you buy the pack or did you buy it all seperately? because if you bought it seperately, then thats why, lol
