What he's doing (and has done) publicity-wise for the GT franchise is great. What other developer of driving games has such an influence that they can design in-car instrumentation and concept cars (now a production car, kind of!). The GT Academy is another great piece of marketing and quite an amazing reality. Publicity at Goodwood is good for the game franchise. He may also be building his relations with car manufacturers. I'm sure he has his minions working away for him :) Even so, I'm sure he's also very involved. You never know, perhaps he was on holiday.
