At E3 this year, Sony launched their “Greatness Awaits” ad campaign, which will be used to promote the entire PlayStation brand leading up to the PS4’s release this fall.
To kick things off, they published the video above on their official YouTube channel, and are teasing the release of additional content based upon the number of views that video receives.
As many in our community quickly discovered, new Gran Turismo 6 content is promised when the clip hits 5 million views.
As of writing, it’s sitting at just under 1 million, and still has a ways to go. Hit the “play” button above and do your part!

I think you don´t only have to watch the video but go to the “greatnessawaits” homepage and find the GT-content on Scene 5 of 9 … on the uper left corner there is a race going on. click on the blue car and you “found” the GT content…
only if you did that, it counts!

Just gone over 920,000 views as of writing this. The Last Of Us content will be unlocked after 1,000,000 views.
At this rate I think 5,000,000 is a bit high, might be a while before that figure is reached.
go onto the Sony page on Youtube, watch the video and wait for the scene (I think 5) where the cars race past in the top left of the screen, click explore under the video and then click on the cars that are racing.

During a network TV broadcast. A new M3 commercial that showed a montage, imagery – not video, of M3’s of yore. Some of those pics lookedlike they were from GT3. The photos were flashed so fast l couldn’t
be certain. But some of the background caught my attention too. I’ll check the internet later.
I remember that. I am almost entirely sure that it was the GT4 High Speed Ring. Very exciting at the time.

Hoping for unlimited Race Mods for most cars. The exceptions would be classics.
I would like to see interior changes after each stage of weight reductions.
The stock interior should go away and be replaced by a stripped down interior with roll cage and racing seat(s).
Hopefully they will have stock, sport and racing brakes and 1.5 LSD setups.

Another problem is all the third parties posting this. Just in the top ten results display in my search here there is over 500,000 views of it that aren’t counting to the total on the PS channel.

That’s cute and all but frankly I’m outraged that information is being held back based on an ad campaign.
Just a tactic to gauge how many ppl would might be interested. Almost a game of itself to try drive the number up quickly for the release of this juicy morsel many are dying to taste.

Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.
In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console — there will be no regional restrictions.”

MS isn’t that arrogant it seems. I knew they would come around. Sony hit them so hard in the E3 it was logical they would do this. The console is still more restrictive than the PS4, so no deal. Plus, there is not Gran Turismo for the Xbox or the other Sony exclusives that I like.
They can sway on those features all they want. Shouldn’t have been implemented in the 1st place. They can make those changes and my money still goes somewhere else 1st.
Bending on those issues for the community hasn’t made the console anymore powerful or cheaper VS the PS4.
Ill get one at some point, but not at launch.

I’m a little unclear on if GT6 is in fact a PS3 game… I see here that it’s PS3, people online say PS4, and it was just in a new playstation commercial?

secondly a lot of people online are idiots and the commercial doesn’t specify a particular model, it’s for both PS3 and PS4.
As all the demos have been running on PS3’s it should be obvious that it is a PS3 title.

The advert is for playstation, not for any one console in particular. Remember, there will be three bespoke consoles on sale this year. (Four if they still sell PS2s LOL)
First off there wasn’t a single mention of GT6 in that commercial.
Secondly, Kaz has confirmed many times that it is a PS3 game.

but clearly in the video you see a track with race cars in the back ground with a GT6 logo on the wall.
That being said I couldn’t understand as to why anyone would consider this commercial to feature exclusive PS4 content.
It obviously represents the entire Playstation universe which clearly isn’t confined to any one system/console.
And I’m not sure what cave a few of these ppl might dwell in but the information confirming GT6 as a PS3 title and way later as a PS4 release is… Idk… Everywhere on the Internet, not just here.

It wasnt mentioned by them as oppose to confirmation on PS4. I’d doubt they go into officials yes & details as to not confuse the consumers or hurt the original pS3 sales. But Kaz even mentioned they are interested in bring it to pS4…. It just won’t be anytime soon at all. I’d imagine the version for PS4 wouldn’t even be released in a years time after the PS3 one had.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Sony pulled a GT6 on both platforms, anything is possible. GT6 on PS3 is amazing for me as I don’t need to shell out big bucks and have to impulse buy GT6 along with the PS4.
