From Megadeath to gentleman Jim!
@IfAndOr I'd imagine your face is just like the one in your avatar when
you see my musical preferences. Yes it's no problem for me going from Megadeth
to Mr. Reeves. His voice was amazing.
I discovered him early on through my mothers musical taste. She's into 50's and 60's,
while my father's into 70's. I've taken the best from both.
Cruel fate what happened to Jim Reeves, dying only at 40 in a most horrible way.
There's no doubting you've got very eclectic musical tastes. Which is no bad thing. Liking one genre is fine, but If you only listen to that genre you'll miss out on a lot of brilliant stuff - including voices like Jim's.
Another great voice from that era that died too early - Matt Monro
A little later, but who can forget the haunting voice of Karen - The Carpenters
@IfAndOr Having a listen right now ^
I knew of both artists. Monro even sang a James Bond song.
