1992 Nissan Winfield GT-R [SS] | The Bathurst Almighty + [VIDEO]

_

Hello, guys!

There's my second setup sheet that I made and providing for GTPlanet forum. I'm enjoying here bit by bit because I need to finish my college obligations, but I want to show all of I did in GT6 during my 2 years and a half of the game.

This setup was designed for the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R (R32) based on 1992 Nissan Winfield GT-R, the champion of the Australian Touring Car of that season. That is a simple tribute for the australian myth of the Gibson Motorsport who faced up typical monsters like Sierra RS500, VN Commodore, Starion, M3 Evolution, Supra and Corolla SX.

The car runs with Sport Soft tires (can be used with Racing Tires easily) in Bathurst with DS3 controller. The time will be better with G27 so far, but I hadn't a G27 to test it. So, if you want to help with sending your record, I'd like it!

DS3:
SS - 2:07.641
RS - 1:59.268

I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you!

Transmission (Additional Comments & Instructions)
Follow these steps below to make this transmission:

- Set the Max. Speed to 260km/h (default);
- Change the final gear higher as possible (5,000/5,500/6,000);
- Set again the Max. Speed, that time in 180km/h (112mph);
- Adjust the gears with the ratios marked above;
- Finally, change the final gear to 2.828.

Many people here know this kind of technique which provides more performance of the engine, but if you didn't, there is a short transmission explanation to do it in every car you want.

Good tune, but changed the torque to 35/75 as it was a bit too rear focused for Bathurst. Hard to stop the car so I need to look at the brake bias/strength but that is the only issue. The gearbox is great particularly 4th to 5th. Car likes to walk around a bit, but just don't fight it - keep it smooth and you will get faster each lap.

With a wheel did a 1.58.147, and will get quicker as I tweak the suspension to suit my driving style.

Good job, the car is fun and challenging to drive, but that's how it's meant to be.
