The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado, USA.

The track measures 12.42 miles (19.99 km) over 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft (1,440 m) from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway, to the finish at 14,110 ft (4,300 m), on grades averaging 7.2%.
It used to consist of both gravel and paved sections, however as of August 2011, the highway is fully paved and as a result all subsequent runnings will be on asphalt from start to finish.

The race is self sanctioned and has taken place since 1916. It is currently contested by a variety of classes of cars, trucks, motorcycles and quads. There are often numerous new classes tried and discarded year-to-year. On average there are 130 competitors.
The PPIHC operates as the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Educational Museum to organize the annual motorsports event. (Wikipedia)

This track at the limits of the PS3, i would have needed a few more road meshes to smooth better some turns. Unfortunately, more than that, it freezes the PS3.

The following video will provide you with an overview of the track:

Track Record by Sebastien Loeb in 2013. Much more dangerous in real life and without rails on any side of the road.

Fantastic. So much fun. And grueling.
Absolutely brilliant! This is the best version on gt planet by a long way, my only criticism is that there are too many trees towards the top and not enough spectators along the track sides.

Thank you for your feedback appreciated. I agree that the top of the climb should be made of rock sides. The rock bank decoration is not available on Eifel Canvas, i would have wanted so much to replace those bank trees with rock banks (banks are there to figure real track borders). i may add some people around if i don't run out of PS3 memory for decorations.
First part of track is too long, but good job on the elevation, feels nice going uphill all the way to the top. Wish they us a dirt version on the track path editor so we could make an earlier version of Pikes Peak.
Right on Track seemed narrow Great Work (5 Stars)
Needs some fine adjustments, a new theme and it'll be perfect.
