Fanatec Reveals CSL Pedals, Starting at $80

I'm betting around 169$ for the kit with load cell to undercut the T-LCMs. Then 349$ CSL DD, add a rim for 150-200$, makes the Fanatec ecosystem a lot easier to enter.

Fanatec CSL DD: Entry Level, $350 Direct Drive Wheel

Usually, if the game supports Fanatec FFB, the wheelbase can do the translation. And as mentionned earlier, Fanatec usually includes a compatibility mode as a fallback.

Fanatec CSL DD: Entry Level, $350 Direct Drive Wheel

CSL -> CSW -> Podium in terms of ranking.

Fanatec Podium Direct Drive Wheel Bases Thread

Well, with the Zring, it's as easy as just releasing the QR and sliding it on. With the Fanatec method, it forces you to unscrew, then release and retighten afterwards. It's a longer process, it's no longer a quick release at that point.

I'm at 3 people who I've printed it for already, with a 4th coming. It's really useful! Love it on mine, wheel swap is fast.

I used the surplus M8 bolts included and got washers at a local hardware store. Nothing more needed in my case. Depending on how the rails are made, this will vary a lot though.

For my part, it was easy. The FR-S seat bolts directly to the floor, so it was just a matter of placing the profiles in the right position and then bolting through (with washers) and that was it. It will vary from car to car obviously, but in this case, it was a very simple job. I've included...

Only used on PC so far, but the DriveHub has a wheel connector(For the DD) and an accessory USB (for the pedals). Didn't try it, but it should work perfectly that way. The pedals are 3 axis and the accessory connector is there just for that.

    You won't feel it even if it's 250Hz. But AFAIK it's 1000Hz.

Love the Sprints. They feel indestructible compared to my "old" V3s. The feeling is excellent, so many adjustments that I can make to make them exactly how I want them to be! It's ridiculous how much better they feel! Never tried the Ultimates though, that must be another league too :P

It is the Sim-Lab GT1 Evo. The problem is, I simply used an 86 seat directly from the car instead of the included seat slider. Lots of people mentioned your issue and it seems to be common. I know some people have tips and tricks on the Facebook groups, but I never really paid attention since I...

This is how mine is mounted. Basically used a corner piece, screwed it into the profile and placed it close to me for easy access for the on/off and out of the way of the wheel if needed.

Valve Index or Rift S (and motion sickness)

Clarity. Higher refresh rate. Better comfort. Better resolution. Better controllers. BETTER AUDIO (Underestimated this one!). It's way better overall. But the Rift sure is cheaper. If you have money, the Index is just the logical choice Most games will run just fine with basic tweaks to...

Valve Index or Rift S (and motion sickness)

    1. Index 2. It's been reported that it does help some people (Check LinusTechTip's review) 3. The listed rig should be fine, but don't expect to run everything maxed at 120Hz. If you're not in a hurry, new GPUs in September will provide a big performance uplift. 4. Medium at best on most games...

Because the Podium R300 has the Podium Hub and Advanced Paddle Modules. For weight, a DD doesn't give a hoot about a few grams, still gonna break your wrists. Feedback on rigidity of the GT2 seems good. It's heavy, that's all.
