    NEW Tracks for GT7

I’d also love to see Slovakia Ring (obviously), but I’m being realistic 😄

Yeah, see you in about 5 years

As said above, they can always edit the laser recordings :sly:

Yeah but I feel like the track surfaces in GTS’ tracks are also too smooth, which further contributes to the problem. Bump sensation is very rare in GTS I think.

In multiplayer, to some extend, yes. But in the GT mode, I doubt it.

PD will always make us race various nerffed LMP cars along with buffed SUPER GT and GT3 cars anyway. It’s what makes GT GT, as Kaz said...

I'm fine with your arguments, besides the last sentence. PD has decided to make additional revenue from selling virtual cars for real money, so it kinda hurts them.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about blatant using of aimbot cheats and wallhacks. And yeah, it's not something game devs can avoid altogether, however, you have to realise PD selects players for real life events based on the game's online races, not to mention they also stream the races...

Regardless, cheating in ranked multiplayer is a big concern, just look at COD Warzone, a series that has a rich history on PC and yet they struggle in keeping cheaters away. I even got killed by cheaters when playing on PS4, with crossplay turned on. Many times actually. I imagine GT would not...

It would be for the FIA sanctioned GT championship ;) Good points, but you didn't adress the hacking concerns.

Super slim... all the PC hard-core simracers are not really interested in GT and all the arcade fans already have enough games and might dislike GT for being too hard-core paradoxically. Remember, they mostly use keyboards and only some of them use gamepads (which is still not the ideal input...

As much as your arguments may be valid, and as much as I would love better physics and more customizable options in the game too (I’ve criticised the game’s physics from the beginning), I have serious doubts it’s going to change in the near future. That is based on a personal communication with...

You’re saying SONY is backing PD like PD is some kind of burden. PD is generating sales for SONY, not the other way around. I’m not throwing the sales as a justification for being a better game. My point from the beginning has been that GT can’t and won’t become a hardcore sim, simply because...

Dude... compare it to the sales of GT series. It’s a miniscule development team compared to PD, with little costs. PD spends so much money on development, licensing, all the sponsoring, not to mention GT championship costs and so on. They can’t just make GT a hardcore sim. And I highly doubt...

I know that of course and I also know he has not delivered a lot of things. However, he talked about collision physics on many occasions. I think the problem may be in the balance side of things. GT needs to stay attractive for casual players in order for PD to fullfil their expensive visions...

The AI Worries Me... A Lot

Recently I’ve fired up good old GT6 and headed to a race only to ragequit after a few corners. My main problem with the AI isn’t the speed, but their lack of spacial awareness, they’re all over the track, they tend to fly into a corner only then to hit the brakes in the apex (especially when...

This makes me think again, what kinds of high-end technology PD develops over time, so many man-hours put into R&D and we only get to see crazy stuff like this thanks to a modding community. And this is just top of the iceberg. I mean, I understand not everything is meant for public, but PD...
